Assalamu Aleicoum dear brothers and sisters.

May you be in the best state of heath and faith InhshAllah.

If i just ask anyone of you ...
Which is the good deed(worship) that you done for Allah???

What'll be your answer ??
Did anyone of you think about that before ??

I know ofcourse and for sure that all the worships are essential and the best,
But my point here is actually inspired by the `Qura'n itself ..

Didn't you notice
WHILE READING QURAA'N that :

In Ramdan verses... ALLAH *swt* has focused on fasting ..nevertheless ofcourse there are other woships like praying, charity ....etc

In the time of war ...the mainly focus always go in its verses for (al-jihad) and how people have to defend thierselves and thier religion ..

After (Mecca victory) ALLAH *swt* remind his beloved prophet*sws* and ofcourse the believers to mention him a lot in the vesre of (al-fath) as that was the best ibada then for them ...

And in the peace time...ALLAH *swt* just oreders people to work and never forget to pray first in (al-gomaa') verse ...

I think it didn't came by chance *astaghfur ALLAH* ..ofcourse
so for sure there is a wisdom that ALLAH *swt* in his holy book mentioned certain worship in a certain time...

Why?

I'll answer according to my humble understanding to the verses ..and telling you what happened to me
First : my view about the meaning of (worship) is expanded extremely as now I have countless kinds of worships
Contains a lot of things that maybe i didn't mention before (as a kind of whorshipping ALLAH) ..

Second : i just began to understand the priority in each time and how all people was going for it ..
Third :there is a big problem if we just couldn't know what is the best ibada of our time..As it's just like a ship sinking and her captain praying..as you know
this captain will be asked why you prayed and didn't rescue people of your ship !!!!!!!

And actually this is the beauty of Islam ..so flexible and open-minded ,,,,
walahi no other religion reached this high standard of thinking before or after ..

I hope i could clear my question ..

So again :
Which is the good deed(worship) that you done for Allah????

To be honest with you ..this question came to my mind after quite long discussion between me and my friend on our way back to home after my collage
and becasue i felt it's more than just some people's dream ..i wanted to share it with you all.

The special worship that I done for Allah is that every day I go to my college I am looking for one one old women who is siting always there neer my college and she is asking for charity.Every day when I am going to my college I always give her the most of money that my parents give me for my college. She always smile to me and sais to me that Allah rewords me,and that is a special that I am doing for Allah. After that I find my selfe that I am fasting even when is not Ramadan,I am making my prayers much longer than they should be,I down my look for Allah and I mention Allah all day and night, but still on the end I found my selfe in tears becasue I realise as much as I worship to Allah it is not enough.

And this Ummah will survive In shaa' ALLAH with us or without..
simply becasue it has the religion of ALLAH and the Qura'n that ALLAH 'll keep to the last day on this earth ..
so just let's take part in this

It's very good to think of our future life....
who we'll marry ..where we'll live
and it's amazing if we think how we can gain more money and make our kids live happliy..

But just a little small thing that if added to our list walahi can change The world not just our Ummah,
Puting a goal ..something you love and talented in___ something can live for ..
and say : i can make something new that will change the world by it

We have a lot that they don't have walahi...so don't be disapointed and say We are nothing according to them !!
It's true we mayn't witness the whole results ...but by our intents to do something we 'll have it all..

At least we still have our spiritual life ,our faith ,our beautiful message of islam and our deep understanding of humanity and moral ethics ..
that can inspire us to do something can attract thier eyes and make them change thier views about us ..
lead them to ALLAH ...

So just let's mention it even for one time at least in our life and make something to please Him ..
We just can't die like that ...and we won't be like this captain who left the ship sinking ..

IF ANYONE HAVE ANY COMMENT OR SIMILAR DREAM OR ANOTHER ANSWER TO MY QUESTION ..TO SHARE IT WITH ME HERE...Inshallah.

May Allah bless you all.

isn't your best deed supposed to stay between you and Allah?

Alleicumu Salam dear brother.

Regarding your question brother it has made me feel like I done something wrong, and Allah knows that I can never do that.
I also hope brother that you have red the whole thread and then ask me this question Inshallah.

And dear brother waht I feel for my Allah, and waht Allah feels for me it is betwen me and my Allah Alhadmulillah.
The deeds that I do for Allah are betwen me,my Allah, and those to who I will be example with my deed ands who will be my example with thier good deeds for Allah,Inshallah.
That is the reason why I wanted that we share our good deeds so that we can be example to each others,Inshallah.I think brother you have misunderstand me becasue the best example for that is our Prophet Mohammed s.a.v.s,who was always sharing his worship with his s.a.v.s. family, complainion and all belivers and it was only becasue of one reason, that we Inhsallah we examples to each others.

May Allah bless you dear brother and may Allah guide us all.

ok this time i read it properly...plz correct me if im wrong.

Yes the Prophet :saw: gave examples for his family and companions and left examples for the rest of humanity, but for us to mention examples like this may cause our hearts to be vaulnrable to pride.

"pride is like an ant on a black stone, is the dark"

this is how hard it is to spot pride, please don't mind im sure your intention was good or maybe im just being dumb, but when you mention your deeds it can be an example yes, but this is a very dangerous thing, and like the example i gave you implies, pride is very hard to spot.
(i'm not implying your proud of what you did, i'm saying others might be if they write up their deeds, Allah knows best)

Prophet :saw: was sent as an example, that is why he gave examples.

if i wanted to get examples of good deeds the main person i would refer back to is obviously the Prophet :saw:, then the companions, then the next generation, then the next and then the rightly guided scholors because they were true examples and i garentee you everysingle person in the world whoever it is if he or she has done a good deed it is only by their examples.

i ope i havnt confused you and forgive me if i offended you in any way sister trust your one of the sisters on this forum that i would say is one of the kindest sisters i wouldn't want to offend you agen please forgive me if i did

Alhamdulillah brother.

I do not need to fogive you anything dear brother and Alhamdulillah I respect your sense and it is very importante that we value other knowlodge Mashallah.

Allah is saying to us that we should always compete in doing good deeds for Allah and Alhadmulillah every Muslim is modest, and where exist modesty there is not place for high proud.

Alhadmulillah dear brother that we should follow our beloved Prophet Mohammed s.a.v.s and his s.a.v.s. companions but there is also other Muslims who can be our example,Inshallah.
Islam and my parents learned me that I should always be modest and value others modesty, and I know how even much I do for Allah it is not enough to thank to Allah for everything that He has gaved to us.

Thank you dear brother for your kind and beautiful words Mashallah, and wallahi I do not deserve such a kindness, may Allah bless you dear brother.

Mashallah for your kindness also brother.

May Allah bless you and all Muslims.

for me personally, i don't like to mention the good deeds that i have done. i fear having a bit off pride or end up seeking the praise of others. this doesn't mean that everyone that mentions the good deeds that they have done do these things, but i fear falling into it because i know myself. i remember someone telling me how beautiful my recitation of the qur'an was. i was very shy about that and was scared because in my old life i used to love the attention and praise from others. i used to get praise that i never deserved praise for. so i was scared to be praised for my recitation because i knew of the hadith about the hafiz ul qur'an that recited the qur'an for the praise of men and ALLAH SWT revealed that they only recited to receive praise from men and not for the sake of ALLAH SWT. i didn't want that to happen to me. so right now, i will only publicly recite if i'm being tested on my memory.

like giving in charity, we should do our good deeds as if we weren't letting the left hand know what our right hand was doing.

but like the prophet :saw: recommended, we should all race to do good deeds. insha'allah we will receive the ajr of such good deeds. ameen

MashaAllah bro thanks for sharing...so you have nice recitation ey lol can we hear???
im joking...i know how you feel tho that happend to me before and they started sayin nice stuff about my adhaan...and i remember it came to a point wer if anyone sed neting bad bout ma adan or recitation i used to feel sum sorta hatred and arrogance...this bruva taught me wat to do so i got rid of those feelings and if anyone sed anything good i would say :jazaak: and if anyone would say anything bad i would say "get the hell outta ere!!!" jokin i would say :jazaak: again.

Hadith (paraphrased)

a sign of sincerity is that the beleiver gets happy by only getting praised by Allah and Disheartend only when critisised badly by Allah"

which means your actions should not be changed or affected by others rather it should be affected if Allah Likes it or not

:wasalam: dear brother.

I agree with you dear brother that we should always be modest Alhadmulilah and modesty is part of our iman.
There are always some deeds which will be notice from other people but it is importante that we be modest in our selves and it is the most importante that we do our good deeds for Allah and that Allah Inshallah pleased with us.

Alahdmulillah we do not need to mention half or all good deeds becasue Alhadmulillah that would not be modesty, but we can mention some deeds which is dear to our heart and that can be example to our brothers and sisters Inshallah, like for example charity or reciting the Holy Quran like you have mentiond brother Mahallah.

May Allah bless you dear brother and may Allah s.w.t. be pleased with all our good deeds,Ameen.

LoL MY best deed? I don't really know, .........I just have that feeling that whatever I do is so small, I feel upset that I can't be pious so I can please Allah Ta Alla. :( I'm always greif stricken over the state that I'm in. :( I just feel so sad, I wish I can return to my Rabbi. :(

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta Alla bless you sister Asja, and may he ALWAYS shower his mercy, Love, and beauty over you, and let your face shine in his love and light, because I can tell that YOU are those who love their Lord, what a person I was, but at time you can find me so happy that my face radiates so bright, but at other times I just feel so upset and sad (because my Eman decreases so much) that I cry because I feel like as if I'm no longer next to the one I love the most, my Lord. :(

But atleast YOU, sister Asja, are one of those sisters who love their Lord, and that kind of a Muslimah is priceless, so much that even if I were given a hundred Houris in Jannah I would sacrifice all of them if I can just have this one sister, Wallahi sister, I know that you are beautiful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta Alla, and that is why I don't want any brother or sister to go through the hard pain that I'm going through, the steady decreasing of Eman, losing the feeling of being close to your Lord that you can see him high on his Throne, so beautiful, with tears in your eyes in your Love for him. Mashallah, I know how that feels, and I would give up anything that this Duniyah or Jannah has if I can just be with my Lord again, and then I would be eternally happy.

Assalamualaikum dear brothers and sisters,

Hmm..Ive heard this from the TV (forum on Islam), if im not wrong it's an advice from Luqman to his son which goes like this:

"2 things for us to forget: OUR GOOD DEEDS TO OTHERS and WHAT OTHERS DO WRONG TO US

2 things to remember: ALLAH and AKHIRAT"

Besides this, an Ust from Malaysia (Ust Abu Hassan Din al-Hafiz) who came to Spore recently mentioned that among the 7 types of ppl that will be protected by Allah in Mahsyar is:
"Those who donated or do good and kept it as a secret."

May Allah guide us all towards a Muslim of Imaan and Taqwa.
Please correct me if im wrong.. =)
