My sheikh asked me:

You are not committing zina because of your strong imaan or because the chance to commit one did not come to you? Which one?

My sheikh asked me:

You are not committing zina because of your strong imaan or because the chance to commit one did not come to you? Which one?

I think it is not so straightforward and simple. I pray to Allah and seek His mercy that he doesn't put me or anyone else in such situations. Moreover, I avoid anything that would lead to such a situation. I think zina doesn't happen suddenly one fine morning. It is a result of free-mixing, failing to lower the gaze, negligence about religion and many other factors. Hence, I avoid all this which might lead to zina. One cannot be so sure that his imaan is strong enough, rather he should try to make it more strong.. and stay on course of it. That is how I feel. I don't want to consider the case of given a chance. I don't want to get to that point. Usually that point reaches as a result of above mentioned problems.
