Why is that there are so many of us , but little contributions ?

Economically speaking, the West tricked the world when it replaced gold with currency value (i.e. dollar, pound, euro, etc). You see the countries that use to own gold were once posessers of the wealth, but the West created paper currency and bought the gold from those countries. Then they created wars which depreciated the paper currency and now they own all the gold such as in places like Fort Knox. Those countries are then forced to take loans at 20% interest rate to recover the loss. Now they (West) own the country. Devils. Tricksters.

In 1974 Nigeria was the 3rd largest oil producing country in the world. Today, Nigeria is still the 3rd largest oil producing country in the world but it does not own it's own oil. Exxon, Mobil, BP own it and sells it back to the Nigerian people! Who did this? The International Monetary Fund (IMF) & Worldbank.

My point is, dominance of the West by controlling the media, banks, education system is a reality. No doubt this is part of it's intellectual global conspiracy, which has kept many Eastern countries from becoming developed and thus making contributions.

there were a lot of contributions made by Islam n Muslim ummah. the popular one is the finger prints, the dna, the cure of blindness most of its done by Muslim specialists but work for the non Muslim goverments. even majority of the world courts following what were already stated in Islam Shari'ah as their guidelines but its pity for them that they dont have tawheed.

Well, it sure is all tumbling down now, isn't it!? Allahu Akbar. Anything that is not rooted in and based on truth is doomed to fail eventually. All of the power belongs to Allah, and whatever he decrees is what will be realized. But people forget this fact.

[17.81] And say: The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished; surely falsehood is a vanishing (thing).

And I agree with brother HumbleOne's earlier assessment that it is actually more productive to consider what YOU yourself can do to make a beneficial contribution instead of questioning what everyone else has or hasn't done with their lives. Reflect on this dear brother and let us know what your big plans are so we can support you and cheer you on! I hope you will make a great contribution and inspire us all

The primary objective of the muslim is to earn akhirah. The happy person in akhirah will be " the person who has been saved from hell and sent to heaven (jannah) ". - inshaAllah.

Muslims know that Allah has created them only for His worship. as Allah says
"wama khalaktul Jinna wal insa illa liyabudun." the translation means " I (Allah) did not create jinn and humankind except to worship me" ( 51:56)

Muslim's life is not centered, he has to be in society, he has to be with family, he has to be for community, he has to be for fellow muslims, he has to earn halaal earnings and has to be in search for.

I may say his life is better than those who give whole life studying fish below the sea water or studying bacteria/viruses and nothing at all.

The biggest contribution muslims have given are : discipline , tolerence, brotherhood , generosity , and so on lively qualities. The people live for those things. Money and civilisation can raise our living standards but cannot give peace and tranquility in life. That only islam can give.

It is my words to all promoters of modernisation that if muslim is on following of Islam, there will be a happiness and peace everywhere . The most here
and unlimited in akhirah - InshaAllah.

i've read every single reply on here, so what i'm gonna do is go and think of how i can unite my brothers and sisters in islam and how i can contribute to the ummah of rasulullah. because without unity we have fallen apart. i must say this is gonna be hard since i must convince some of my arab neighbors but inshaAllah all will go well. and someday when i do make a great contribution to the muslim ummah, generations after me will be grateful. inshaAllah. and this journey i'm about to take is solely for the sake of Allah and nothing else. asalamu alaykum wrwb.

reminder: Islam is a moderate religion, or a way of life. it is not behind. it's the muslim's that are in need of modernization. the islamic modernization of the time of Muhammad. s.a.w. but islam does not need to be modernized. it has all of it's doors of opportunity wide open and waiting to be used wisely. peace out.

Thats right ..........unity plays a crucial part in the islamic equation . Without it , everything falls apart .
