Sister, what is better than making a permanent change in your life (inshaa' Allaah), for the sake of pleasing the Creator? You may have fears, but the hijaab is a safety barrier for you. May Allaah make this affair for you, ameen!

When the creature respond to what his/her creator told him/her to do then a sweatness of faith is felt ......concentrate on this goal pleasing the one who is above all : the Lord of the universe ......you will be in harmony with the wholw being .....Disobediance of the owner of all is an oddness .....be proud with your higab it is modesty and purity for yourself and the whole being around you. May Allah sobhanahu wa taala give you courge and strength.

:salam2: I started wearing hijab 3 1/2 yrs back. My mom and sisters dont wear hijab. My advice to you is if you want to wear it and truly believe it is the right thing. Then dont care about what people think or what advice they give you. Thats how i did it. And if you feel that people are going to look at you and cause of that u r shy to wear it. I say one thing if you live for what people think how u look you will never survive . You should have a i dont care attitude. I went from a short skirt to a long jilbab believe me it was a big change for me.

Salamualikum sister,

your inner urge to wear Hijab is indicative of the goodness in you and the love of Allah for you. I wore Hijab at the age of 11 and alhamdulilah never looked back since.

Firstly I recommend that you continuously pray to Allah to strengthen you with it. Hijab is not something to be taken lightly and many take it off soon after wearing it. One way of helping you keep it on is distancing yourself from those who keep you away from Allah- friends are either influencing us or are being influenced by us.

okay here are my words of encouragement to you: when you walk out the street with Hijab on, every person that looks at you will be reminded of Allah, thus every 'look' gains you multiple reward. if you are living in a non-Mulism country, your reward gains a double-fold increase as it is a greater struggle. additionally, Hijab works wonders for da'awah, so many will ask you as to why you wore it, thus you will be able to rectify misconceptions.

furthermore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that there will come a time (i.e now) where one individual practicing Islam will be equivalent to, in reward, to 50 of the Companions because of the difficulty in that time- imagine being equivalent to 50 of the companions! alhamdulilah.

when we remember of how the Prophet (peace be upon him) turned his face away from Asma, at the age of 12, who was not wearing hijab, we have to ask ourselves, do we want him (peace be upon him) to turn his face away from us on the day of judgement?

yes you will get the 'stares' and yes you will go through difficult phases but this life is so short lived and nothing is guaranteed, we cant guarantee we will awake tomorrow. By wearing Hijab, you can say to Allah on the day of judgement 'I did this solely for You' :)

I wish you all the best in wearing it, May Allah strenghthen you by it and we are all here to support you.

Ofcourse Allah loves you, no doubt about it: when Allah loves someone, He gives him/her an understanding of Deen, and you are treading the path of this deen.

Once at the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) a woman hugged her son dearly, so the Prophet peace be upon him said to his companions: do you think this mother would throw her son into the fire? they replied in the negative. the prophet answered them: Allah loves His creation more than a mother does to its child.. Allah loves us and is ever relenting towards us, His doors are open for us 24/7. There is no sin too great for Allah to forgive. however, we must do so now and not delay as there are no guarantees.

When Allah created this earth, He wrote on His throne: 'My Mercy Prevails over My wrath'. we have to have a balance between understanding His Mercy and His Wrath.

I recommend to you to isolate youself from friends who do haram things or who do not pray, as they will distance you from doing good. Also, the shaytan will constantly be at your back to stop you wearing Hijab, he knows our weaknesses and will focus on them. Best thing to do is engage yourself in salah and frequent recitation of Quran. there are also many good audios/videos available on the net, particularlly those on the Akhira and death, which will help put things in perspective.

All the best to you sis, Im here for you if you need anything :)
