  • Let's try to make the most of what is left in the days and nights of Ramadan, In sha Allah.
Consistency is the key in anything as you see regular progress while short bursts of energy dissipates. (I think :)

Mabsoot - JazakAllah Khair akhi. :) I have started doing it. Alhamdulilah. I am persistently sticking to the plan no matter what. But, What about the ups & downs of imaan? ebbing of emotions?

That's life I think brother. The important thing is when you are down not to become too bogged down in those emotions. We all sin/fall short in life, the important thing is to rise above and not enter hopelessness whereby you abandon the plan. Insha'Allah I think this where one's consistency (and perseverance in terms of life's obstacles) can help, and avoid burn out. You can only go at full speed for so long.
Ameen to the dua`. I've downloaded the pdf. Yes, it is a bit long winded. May Allaah grant us the time to read and understand it, inshaa Allaah.

    Thank you for sharing.
    Assalamua`alaykum wa rahmatullaah,

May I know the book and the author where this thread of yours: The scholars efforts to purify and authenticate the Sunnah is taken from?

    BarakaAllaahu feek.
    AssalaamuAlaikum akhi.

No brother. I was meaning of the difference between Ahad and Wahid as in, in Surah Ikhlas, Ahad is used and not Wahid, but both mean the same. So that was the doubt. Sorry, I should have made it more clear. Thing is am no good with Arabic. To be more precise am "0" at it. :(
    AssalaamuAlaikum akhi.

Is there any possible way, where I can get updates whenever you post a thread? :p I kinda love the posts you make. :D I don't wanna miss any of your posts. I am more into learning the life-style of Prophet SAW and Sahabas RA. So? Anyway?

    Peace. :)
I apologize for the late reply. Must have missed the question in the brackets. I am not sure about the publisher of the book since the book offered to be sold to me by the author is not in the English language. But same title, same author. There's also the book of Umar Abdul Azeez by Dr as-Shalabee.

But inshaa Allaah, I trust that if you say you haven't found anything weird as far as your reading, then I'm going to consider buying the book, inshaa Allaah.
    Assalamua`alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

Brother, I stumbled upon your thread about Umar al-Khattab radiyallahu anhu. The author is Dr Muhammad Ali as-Shalabee. A friend offered me this book but I was unsure about the author as I never heard of him. When I made some checks, the background of the author seems a bit doubtful as in he was written to be among the Naqshbandi. Allaahu a`alaam wa bissowab.

You know anything about this? And the book I'm referring to is about "Biography of Umar al-Khattab" by Dr Shalabee.
Oh its ur surname, well but im wondering what does it means? it sounds like a punjabi word to me
    Wa'alaykummusalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

No worries and Jazaaka Allaahu khaayran katheeran for your time. Yes, I read and searched about it at islamqa and did bumped upon the specific post you mentioned. Alhamdulilla.

InshaAllaah sooner or later, I'll bump again with that thread I'm looking for at TTI.

I do feel that there might be something wrong with the search button because its happening to me too or perhaps it could also be because the right, specific words were not used when searching. Allaahu a'laam.

    Sorry for the long post.
Yeah but what if it is a rafidi quote? And also Ja3far al-Sadiq, didnt he live after the sahabas? If yes then we say rahimahullah...
I used the report button several months ago and I still saw the post be here. Its more effective to VM a Moderator who is online.
There was this thread that I once read where the OP asked why is Allaah refer to as a "He" in the Quran. There were good answers in the threas and I found the youtube video by Zakir Naik explaining about it, but just wanted to read that thread again.

    BarakaAllaahu feek.
