well in India at least the muslims survived and the main reason for this the propagation of Islam- da'awah which led to large scale people reverting to Islam.

whereas in Spain the da'awah was less and the entire muslim population left was wiped out

yeah! tipu sultan also used rockets to chase out the british. and it is said that british learnt the rocket technology through him. (only Allah knows the truth.)

yeah well,it's coz most of our courses contain stupid stuff.that's what's happening,especially here in indo-pak.like that english guy said he's going to introduce an education system here that will only produce clerks.not much have changed when it comes to the scheme of studies.but youth however keeps on changing.may ALLAH help uso out and guide us to the right path.

well recently I saw a documentary about pakistan schools and it was sad to know that nearly half of the young population does not go to school.

education is must whatever it is.Once one becomes literate even though the system is designed in such a way to make them clerks once has always the options of choosing various courses and read books on his own.

yeah it's kind of frustating to see all this.i've kind of given up on the leaders,things done at individual lvl tends to bring greater changes.having faith in ALLAH and doing our best is the best option(which guarantees sucess)for every muslim.

inshallah the ummah will prove itself.
