Cats!

im allergic too,but we keep finding lost baby cats in our garden ,so we take care of them ,,but then im an animal lover .. and imsad because cant have our latest cat in the house

we have a lot of them roaming around in the hostel corridors. some of them are so frightening while others damn beautiful! some go on whining and try to enter your room whenever possible and then the mission 'getting the cat out' starts ...!!

i hate it when they cry standing right outside my room door :/

Is it haram to *buy* a pet?

I don't think so. These fatwas indicate there is nothing wrong in buying pet, otherwise they would have mentioned it:
