dear tti brothers and sisters
you are may all aware of the thread of sister revert2007 where she is warning not to speak with the opposite gender becauce this can lead one into temptation.
I don´t want this issue to become even more vast. She warned us not to speak to the opposite gender and I want to warn us not to trust our nefs.
Some people think as long as they know their limits nothing can go wrong....
I sincerely believe that many of you have pure intentions and have good hearts.
But still nobody of us should trust his nefs. We are not good because of our own wisdom. But we are good because Allah bestowed HIS Mercy upon us.
Will any of you claim that he is more rightous then Prophet Yusuf a.s. ? Then look at what he said:
"And I do not hold my soul free from weakness. Certainly the soul is indeed prone to evil, excepting whom my Rabb has mercy. Surely my Rabb is Protector, most Rewarding." (surah Yusuf:53)
I tell you this because I brought disaster upon myself with saying : "I am... I know... I will. And if Allah would not guide me I would belong to the loosers...
I don´t want anyone of you to suffer. That´s why this thread.
And jazak Allahu ckair sister revert for your advice. Inshaallah we will repent.
