:salam2: brothers and sisters!!
recently in my family we have had a loss! it was some ones who is like my fathers dad! this loss was very sadening for many reasons.. main one of which being it was his farther.. his name was Abdul.. im only going to tell you a few things about how great this man was.
My uncle sat next to me and told me about him. When he passed he wasnt a rich man. Mainly because he gave it all away. if he saw a poor person he would give that poor person a meal and eat with them. If he didnt have any money he would give them a token in which they could go to his house and get a meal. If family gave him new clothes for eid hed give them to the poor.. he also carried around bottles of water everywhere so at least the poor could drink.
This passing made me relise what good do i do for islam?? how much have i given to poor and homeless??
This uncle was truly remarkible and will be greatly missed.
He inspired me and made me want to improve my islam. i have taken a month of work in which time i have just to focus my islam!!
I would like to learn ayat ul kursi, how to do the azan and finish the quran in english and arabic at least.. if anybody knows of any links to help me with some of the things ( mainly the azan) masha allah would be most apreciated.
May allah grant abdul malik and his wife the top level of paradise with allah swt. ameen.
