اسمه الكامل هو معمر محمد عبد السلام أبو منيار القذافي، من قبيلة القذاذفة. ولد في 7 يونيو 1942في قرية اسمها (جهنم ) بالقرب من (شعيب الكراعية) في وادي جارف بمنطقة سرت, وقتل في يوم 20/10/2011 في مدينة سرت.

His full name is Muammar Mohammed Abdul Salam Abu Minyar Gaddafi, of the tribe AlGadadfa. Born on June 7, 1942 in the village its name in Arabic Jahannam (literal translation in English is Hell fire) near (Shoaib Alkraih) in the valley of sweeping area of Sirte, killed on 20.10.2011 in the city of Sirte.
