Hello everyone, I'm really glad to be here. :) I was raised a Christian but recently I have been doubting that Christianity is true. I mean, the first commandment is "Thou shalt not have others gods before Me," and yet we (Christians) worship Jesus as God, when he is specifically called the Son of God. I don't believe that even. I believe he was a great prophet so I am looking into Judaism and Islam because I believe in one God and that's it. Hopefully this site (and I'm sure it will) will be helpful when it comes to learning about Islam. :)

Thank you! I am reading articles now about Islam and science and faith seem to mix. Or that is how I am taking it. :) Under your username it says "revert of many years" and I am just wondering what a revert is. :)

Regarding you Question what does 'revert for many years' means, it means she embraced Islam many years back, the reason whey we use word "Revert" instead of "Convert" because we believe every child is born a Muslim, Prophet (pbuh) said: There is none born but is created to his true nature (Islam)..... [Muslim :: Book 33 : Hadith 6423]

It is later that he may become an Atheist, Christian, Jew... (depending upon his/her parent religion and environment) and that is somewhat what the modern studies indicate:
