How has shaytan disturbed you?

shaytan is constantly disturbing me ......i always get the thought of theres no allah and all that stuff....I was wondering how shaytan disturbed you?

When my thoughts run wild and there is noise. I have to wash myself and slow down. I have to overcome sleep and be positive and grateful.

Shaytan is an open enemy to all of us, authu Billah!! sometimes I cannot focus on my prayers because he always finds a way to distract you, but you have to be strong and seek refuge inshallah. I play surah Baqarah, recite the last three surahs, and Ayat-tul-Kursi. He is out to destroy us, dont let him win. May Allah protect us, Ameen!!:tti_sister:

salam. Shaytan disturbs every min/sec/hour. it's like non-stop. He tells me the same things but i always ask for Allah's help. :tti_sister:

At the end of the day Shaitan is just doing his job, as mentioned in the Quran he will come from behind us, from our left and right and in front of us even from beneath and above us. There is no stopping him, however those with strong Iman have the best shield and Islam is also our shield. Inshallah he will leave us alone for as long as we seek refuge in Allah from the cursed Shaitan.

She and the Satan!!!

Satan: Do you really believe that Allah will answer your prayers???

She: Of course, He is so near and replies to those who entreat to Him.


Satan: But you have been praying for many years, what have you gained???

She: Allah SWT. enjoined us to be patient and never give up His great Mercy.


Satan: Patient?!!!! How old are you?? How long have you been praying to get married??? How much did you cry entreating Him??? Instead of getting married, you got sick and you can not find any medication for your illness.

She: Allah swt. and His prophet told us that we'll be tested and tried to prove the reality of our faith. This is the rubric of Allah towards the believers. Affliction also expiate our sins and purify us.


Satan: Your sins?!!! So what sins had you comitted when you were just three years old and was afflicted by infantile paralysis???

She: I have never felt upset about that, at least I can walk and it was just in one leg, it could have been in the two legs, but Allah was so merciful and Gentle to me.


Satan: But you did a lot of charity and helped many people and you were doing that and expecting good in return, look at you now, you are no one.


She: ( crying) I'll never, never be displeased with my God. I'll be always satisfied and pleased with anything He ordains on me. He knows what is best for me as He created me. I belong to Him and who told you I care about this worldly life?? It is nonsense. The real life will be there in Paradise and Allah Swt. told us that only those who show patience will win and gain the paradise.

Satan: ( running away) Well, I lost this round, but I'll come to you later.

She: Oh, my God, help me to conquer that cursed and be always pleased with me. Ameen:tti_sister:

Shaytan is really disturbing me. I can't have khoushu while I am praying. I realized my khoushu is very good when I pray in a dark room ( is it prohibited to pray in a dark room). Nevertheless, shayitan do remind me of many things subhanallah. I know someone that once left the whole prayer and just walked out of the prayer (Sahu)..

Shaytan is tricky, and builds lots of hopes in our heart, make some of us arrogance, ego for being a better practicing muslim/muslimah than others. Knowlege is an important part in islam, but shaytan got the scope to mess around with hearts since our iman is weak. Inshallah we becareful on that...

Inshallah we remember Allah (swt), and inshallah we recite this dua
'' Alahuma qini shouha'a nafsy''.

Uthmaan Ibn Al-Aas narrated :"I said "O Messanger of Allah,verily the Devil comes between me and my prayer and recitation making me confused .The Messanger of Allah SAW replied :"That is Devil called Khanzab ,so if you sense his presence then seek refuge in Allah from him and spit on your left side three times "

Did anyone heard of this hadith and if this authentic ?

Salam sister,

This is just a perfect example of how Shaitan makes haram things appeal to us. Our heart knows it's wrong to be tempted but Shaitan whispers into us that it's ok try it when in actual fact it's not ok.

It's a very difficult world to live in, full of temptations on the other hand if we have the will power we can quite easily over come these temptations of course with the help from Allah.

Inshallah all our hard work of trying to avoid evil deeds will oneday pay off and we will all certianly be rewarded for it in the hereafter Inshallah.

Yes, we have to stay strong. Personally, even if i do something wrong, i never think that Allah (SWT) is not there. Trying to abstain from our bad habits that we have practiced for a long time is quite challenging. But as Muslims, we should never come to the point where we have doubts and whether there is "no Allah(SWT)".:astag: That doesnt make us different from non believers in the One True Divine Religion. We should constantly remember that He is watching us, that way we develop fear and in return we are able to abstain from committing sins. Shaitan is our open enemy.. we cannot avoid him, but we have to be patient.

May Allah (SWT) guide us to His straight path and bless us with His Blessings and infinite mercy.. Aameen..

it's more like, in which ways hasn't he disturbed you. most of the time for me is during my salah. i could be wide awake, but as soon as i try to make salah i have the need to yawn. if it's not that, i get terrible pain in my back which makes performing salah extremely painful.
