I was wondering if all the wars, genocides and all other chaos that have happened in the past , were all of these planned by Allah SWT or was it just man abusing his free will ?

Thank You in Advance!

Allah does not force any one one to choose. People usually have misconceptions about the divine decree. When we hear about the Qadr, the Divine Decree, we think our fate has been written down by Allah, so whatever we are doing is a result of that. But we are simply wrong. Allah has no timeline and has no boundary of past, present and future. He is the owner of all dimensions. He always knows what you and me will choose to do. He has the knowledge of the Unseen, He is the Most Powerful, the Most Gracious. So, he ordered his pen to write down what ever we will choose to do in this world. These wars, genocides and chaos is not a result of Allah planning to do so, but it is because we chose to do so. (We humans). Allah Knows what we don't. Yes, indeed it was and it is man abusing his free will.

Allah is the Creator of our actions but we are the owners. this is what pious ancestors told.

nothing happens except by His Will and He is All-Knowing, All-Wise and Most-Justful too.

If we all stood up for humanity regardless of what economic system you live in (Socialism, Capitalism, etc.) and fought for issues of global importance like 9/11 which allows the controlling oligarchy to keep its power and hold down the status quo so others cannot resist or break free of the grip of the empire.

We need to become politically active with non-violent resistance to the tyrannical powers on earth. The Iranian President Ahmadinejad is elegant in questioning the American Empire (finished watching his interview on CNN with Larry King).

We need to educate others about Islam and unite the People of the Book together. The only way we'll find peace is if we united all of the major prophets together on the same stage. What I mean by this is that we must respect all prophets and their teachings, strive to promote rightousness to everyone.

:bismillah:

akhi.....guidance comes to the one who truly seeks it and wants it with pure heart. Thats the person Allaah would guide.....wanting guidance comes under free will.

Allaah desires for ALL of us to be guided upon the straight path. We can only be guided if we seek Him and His way....meaning do what he ordered us to do and stay away from what He forbade us.

with all due respect to your views, i disagree a little. :) not all who are guided really search for guidance. there are many who were the worst and never thought of truth, but still Allah guided them through book or video or any other means.

that is His all-wise planning.

One, Amr, never tried and the other, Umar, did by taking that page and reading it.

You never know how the end will turn out. Sometimes, just being nosy is all the crack that is needed for Creator to open that door.

:salam2:, brother. Allow me to disagree. If you take the example of Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, may God have been pleased with him, you will notice that after he hit his sister and she started bleeding, he felt regret and his heart softened long enough to take the page she and her husband were reading, on which the first eight verses of Soorat Taaha (Chapter 20) were written. It was after reading those verses that his whole being shook and he realized that the Quran is the truth. That is when God guided him.

You may also recall that the Prophet (PBUH) prayed to God to strengthen Islam with "one of the two Umars": Amr ibn Hishaam or Umar ibn Al-Khattaab. God answered his prayer and guided Umar, and He left Amr ibn Hishaam misguided. What is the difference between them? One, Amr, never tried and the other, Umar, did by taking that page and reading it.

Jazaka'Allaah khair akhi....

alhamdulillaah
