Its objectives are to:
Propagate information on Islam and matters relating to Islam.
Combat misinformation & misconceptions about Islam.
Conduct Islah activities - remove doubts and renew the confidence of Muslim.
Give courses on Islam and Islam - related subjects
Provide valuable services for reverts and potential reverts
Conduct dae'i training
Provide services towards the betterment of the community
Appeal to the Muslim youth of today through programmes that interest them
Promote the ideal of Islam as a multi-racial and cross-cultural way of life.
The IIS Programme for this year calendar is the FCR (Friendly Comparative Religion) - Basic Intensive 2-Day Training Programme Da'wah to Non-Muslim conducted by Mr. Shah Kirit, (Formerly a Hindu, converted to Islam in 1996)YM Engku Fauzi (Head of Da'wah, Darul Fitrah Converts Association, Negeri Terengganu) & FCR Alumnis. Venue: Lecture Hall, ISS 1-5-2 Prima Peninsula, Jalan Setiawangsa 11, Taman Setiawangsa, 54200 Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA. TEL : 6-03-42604160 (office) & Fax: 6-03-42514160. The fees RM 120.00 per participant / RM 100.00 for students. (Pls note that materials will be provided. Balance used to cover expenses of facilitators and contribution towards maintenance of IIS, if any).
