Assalamu alikom.
In fact, Neil Armstrong did NOT revert. See excerpt below from the following link... *link removed*
Much more detail at the linked site regarding the rumor, how it got started, and proof it is not true.
How Neil Armstrong "became" a Muslim
Among the many rumors circulating in the Islamic world, the claim that Neil Armstrong, the famous Astronaut, has become a Muslim seems to be one that will never die.
Hopefully, the following statement will help to put this claim at rest. Neil Armstrong participated in the Global Leadership Forum in Malaysia on 6 September 2005. The Star Malaysia, currently the most widely read English newspaper in Malaysia, took the occasion to interview him on his moon landing mission with Apollo 11. In the article, Armstrong recalls moon landing, published on 7 September 2005, both in print and online, one finds this statement:
Armstrong, 75, also denied he had heard the Muslim call to prayer on the moon and had converted to Islam.

That is sad I so wanted to believe in this lie

Aren't the information in the video worth some reflection?...Islam is not glorious by who converts to it..it is glorious by who *adheres* to its Tawheed & Sunnah!..we should be happy if Allah Guides a soul to His deen..but we should contain the *EXCITEMENT* levels..we need *adherants* not mere converts of *spiritual mode*
My backup on the amiss results of over-excitement is the one story (out of many more) of the kind everyone is spending so much time dismissing right here in this thread!..
On a another note..I am very much interested in the black stone bit..and the bit about the Ka'aba being the exact center of the Earth..I wonder if there are any *credible* information regarding these two claims?..I think it would be a very good read!

I remember hearing a story of a man who was disguised british claiming to be muslim, with a mission to steal a piece of the black stone. He was successful, and they did an analysis of it and they found the rock to be from space and inside it was white. This I heard from Zaghoul El-Naggar. There is also a book that this british man wrote, and he in turn ended up accepting Islam and writing about it. If I remember I will post the book he wrote.
see the next post after I edit it for the center and facts discovered about the kaaba.
:salam2:Wow..I didn't know any of that..akhi you'll do me a huge favor if you can find these materials..I think they would be awesome to go through..sobhanallah..and I will make sure to check out the information about the Ka'aba as well..baraka allaho feek..you're always there to save the day mashallah
