salamu ailaikuum

hello im a 22 yr old muslum boy who has been married for 7 months now.
i started having promblems with my wife she is a very nice person who knows a lot of quran and prays her salats, the promblem ive been having is that for the smallest reasons my wife would get angry very quickly, and when she gets upset its like she becomes someone i dont know, one minutes shes this person who loves me the next minute she gets angry is like she dont know me and she could just stand there with no feeling as if shes heartless, and even if i apolagise very sincerly it still doesnt make a difference, she gets angeryer more and more untill it comes to a level where she locks herself in a dark toilet without being scared, and she could be in their for 1hour.

i feel as if there is something inbetween me and my wife its like when where most happiest and lovely something changes and becomes a nightmare,
me and my wife are two people who are very in love and understand each other we have fun all the time we have many things in common,

in the begging of my marraige when these promblems started occuring i thought it was normal arguments, but more and more i started to learn and understand that there more to this ,
when my wife is angry she says things she would never normally say and is like she doesnt love me at all its like she completly hates me, and she looks at me in a very different face as if theres something else staring at me.

but when she calms down, insteatly she would become normal and then she would apolagise and cry, not remember most the things she says or does when shes angry and she would tell me dont believe wat she says when shes angry because thats not the kind of person she is.

she once told me that when shes angry she feels good . i said even if im upset , she said yes.

i swear sometimes i can know that there something there,
because in the night when im with my wife im not able to sleep i feel as if there something near us, it scares me my wife would sleep easy but i would not.

i wake up in the morning sometimes and i would see long red scratch marks on my back, as if ive been scratched by a 3 clawled creature i wouldnt feel pain but i can only see it.

when my wife was young age 14 her mother took her to a witch in zambia, because she use to have very painful period pains her mother was a revert who didnt have much knowledge about the deen, my wife didnt want to go she was very scared and uncomftable.

well what happened was that she went in the witches house and saw many strange evil things, very evil things she saw the witch talking in a mans voice and telling her that shes going to see the promblem in her stomach, and she closed her eyes the witch, and my wife felt something moving in her stomach, they slept over for the night in the house, when they were leaving the witch told her i will come and check up on you many times , no matter where u are.

from the knowledge i have , i think theres a female jinn in between our marriage who is divided me and my wife , my wife is not possesed because we went to many sheiks and they advised me its not possesion, my wife parys reads quran shes learning surah al baqarah now , she doesnt get any side effects from reading or practicing,

the only promblem is when me and my wife are together.

inshallah i hope someone can read my story and give me some advise about wat is happening , and to stop this promblem

salamu ailaikuum from your dear muslim brother AHMED.

:salam2: brother,

Reading Qur’aan and known supplications expressing seeking refuge, the most important and effective of which is sura 113 and 114, Al-Falaq and Al-Naas, which were used to cure the Prophet himself. Surah 112, Al-Ikhlaas, is recommended along with them, as well as the opening chapter of the Qur’aan, Al-Fatihah. To cure black magic some have successfully used seven lotus-tree leaves. The leaves should be crushed, then mixed them with water enough for taking a bath. The following verses from the Qur’aan are then recited: verse Al-Kursi (2:255), surah Al-Kafiroon (109), surah 112, 113, 114; the verses which mention magic, which are: in surah Al-Baqarah (2:102), Al-A’raaf (3:117-119), Yunus (10:79-82), and Taha (20:65-69). The possessed person drinks some of the water, and the rest is used to give him a bath.

Akhi..I think (and Allah Knows best) your wife might have a jinn who is in 'ishq (love) with her and is trying to keep *you* away

I would recommend finding a shaikh and telling him this is the case with your wife..that she might have jinn 'aashiq as from the simple information I know..there's a more intense ruqya for this type of possession (and yes there are types of possessions so that's why you probably think your wife isn't possessed)

Keep up with morning and evening dhikr (links below)..pray your fardh on time..read & listen to the Qura'an..make voluntary fasts..pray nawafil & tahajjud..make dua'a often..give a lot of sadaqah..TRY TO DO EVERY ACT OF WORSHIP YOU HAVE THE TIME AND ABILITY FOR!..because WORSHIP is your BEST shield!!!..and this doesn't involve your wife only..you get involved and do it as well..do not think that ruqya and doing fardh worship is enough..you have to extend your 'ibadah beyond these things for your good in the dunya and the akhirah as well!

Have you tried taking her to a psychologist? From what you write, it sounds like she has a lot of characteristics of a person with a bi-polar disorder.

Keep praying, but explore all avenues.

Good luck

I was just going to suggest this before I saw your quote sister. I would strongly recommend you get in touch with a social worker / someone who specialises in mental health. When we ask Allah for guidance, he can provide answers in all sorts of ways - including Western medicine. Bipolar is largely treatable - with a mixture of medication and counselling. Also remember the power of dua...Allah is all powerful and He CAN help you. Your wife will need your support if it is a mental health problem and marshallah it sounds like you are very committed to her. Also, try not to research too much about mental illness yourself as this will just worry you - this is a job for a professional and they will be able to diagnose it if it is a mental health problem. In order to help them, try to keep a log of these occurances / outbursts and call a practitioner asap. COnditions such as this can deteriorate if left too long so act now brother. My duas are with you. Wasalaam

Maybe the doctors in the forum can comment more on your situation. I have just a few thoughts to share.

1. Just like problems in the spiritual world may cause problems in our physical world, a cure in the phsyical world may solve our physical and spiritual problems. In other words, I believe, even the magic can be cured by doctors.

2. Have a look at this wikipedia entry on "Borderline personality disorder".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_personality_disorder

I am not a doctor, who can say, this is it. However, this is an example, how a psychological disorder can look similar to possession.

3. Last but not least, I am not against seeking ruqiah. However, make sure, that there is no shirk involved in it.
