The state of the Ummah is a cause of distress for all those who have Fear of :Allah: in their hearts and concern for their brothers and sisters. All of us are unanimous that something needs to be done but then differences begin to emerge and the more the participants the more diverge and different the proposed solutions!
Those of us who have played sports do understand the value of individual brilliance and performance but also know that ultimately it’s the team which wins or loses and everyone needs to pull together. The glory of winning and ignominy of defeat are also shared within the team. This is a critical point for the Ummah to understand that we are a team and we are paying the collective price for our collective deeds.
Our performance as “Team Muslim” has been abysmal with many of us not performing even the basics such as the 5 times daily prayers and those who do are relaxed about strict adherence to Qur’aan & Sunnah which are meant to be the building blocks for “Team Muslim”.
Individual brilliance from a few of us will neither take us over the line nor make the slightest change in our circumstances unless and until the entire “Team Muslim” decide to pull in one direction because :Allah: has declared in the Qur’aan:
Come one “Team Muslim” do you have what it takes to do "Turn the Tide"?
