Assalamu'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
It might be that the person had evil intention thus stole your money. Make du'a that may Allaah guide that person. And it also might be that the person was really in need, hence the stealing.
Forgive that person. And inshaa Allaah Allaah The Most Merciful will replace you with another provision in a way you never imagine.
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that." [Bukhari]

AlhamduliAllah it is only money , Allah subhanahu wa taala will
replace them for you , it is not car accident or sickness , AlhamdulAllah . Our prophet salla Allah alaihi wa sallam didn't care about money he used to give poor and needy whenever he had some.
