brothers and sisters please, i live in london can anyone tell me what date to start fasting! i need to no due to my job and other commitments! for example on weds i wont be able to open fast till 9pm due to commitments!

It is most likely to be Thursday 13th - but that is to be confirmed by the sighting of the moon ( it could be Wed or Friday too) Can only really know from the night before with the sighting. But Thursday 13th is what most people are estimating at the moment

As Sister MubarekMuslimah mentioned, it is estimated that it will be this coming Thursday in sha Allah. It depends on the moonsighting. There is a possibility it could be on Wednesday, but it CAN NOT be on Friday. Today is the 27th of Shaaban in the Hijri calendar. The Hijri months can be 29 or 30 days, not less or more.
