Ashamed of myself!!!!!

No God but Allah
Sometimes you encounter some people and you become sure that there is a messege sent to you through those unique people, and meeting them was not at all a mere coincidence. Anyway, we as Muslims believe that there is nothing called "coincidence". We rather believe that there is a wisdom behind everything that may happen to you, and there is a lesson you have to learn in every single situation.

Yes, sometimes you come across some person you haven't met before and he drives you to feel ashamed of yourself. That is when you compare his tragic suffering to your suffering, his fatal tribulation to your tribulation, that is if you have any tribulation or any suffering. However, you see him making use of evry blessing he was given to make himself something unique in this life. You see how he spares no effort to create something great, something creative. Then you can not avoid feeling ashamed of yourself.

That is exactly what I felt after knowing about him. He is a writer, not a famous one, though I feel he will definitely be, who moves on a wheelchair, suffering from waste muscles disease. In a few years, he will be no longer able to feed himself! However, he is a very hard-working, talented and creative person. You can easily ascertain his talent and hard work when you read his articles on his own website: www.restoringthemind.com.

He devoted his website to write about the power of human mind and the importance of creativity. He also writes about current events with very wide and knowledgeable vision. He is also a psychological counselor who really has a great faith, and a good Muslim who needs our encouragement and support.

If you visit his site and read his articles, you will learn a lot, but do not forget to post your feedback as a kind of encouragement that he really deserves.

Thanks, brother for your quick response. As for your sugesstion, well... I think I'm not ready yet for that. The website is devoted to articles about " power of mind and creativity", and my humble writings are about emotions and they are not good enough, I'm still trying.

How are you my dear sister?
Few days ago I listened to a shaikh on Tv , he said "if you come through any calamity or despair or any problem, go and visit a hospital and see the patiences who suffer from health problems then look at your self and thank Allah that you are able to walk ,to pray ,to see around you, to read the Quran, to eat and digest, you are able to do unaccountable things without helping from anyone''
Alhamdulillah Who showers us with His blessings.
Regarding to the case of that man, we can be inspired by him and by those who always see the full half of the glass.:SMILY139:

Salaam,

Thank you sister. I looked at the link and I wrote to him. He had a friend telephone me ( his friend lives in the US)..ten minutes later he called me from the UK. I spoke to him for a while. It is the begining of a beautiful friendship. He is postive and wants our youth to become educated and engaged. I can not thank you enough for what you did for me. He asked me how I found out about him and I told him you posted a wondeful thread about him. This all happened in an hours time...yes, sister the spirit is powerful. Jazak Allahu Kharin.

PS. If you and sister Halah only knew how much I love and respect you two.
You bring a tear to my heart..your faith is so pure.

Salaam,

Sister, talking to him was wonderful. I am planning on reading all his articles and being able to discuss the his ideas with some knowledge. He has such a positive vision...and he believes in the goodness of mankind.
But, I feel you ought to communicate with him too. Your perespective on life is different as are your expereinces and it would benefit many.
