Dr Zakir Naik a great man a hero in the eyes of many muslims ... he work and dedication has helped us understand Islam so much better and has guided so many people to the right path but i was so shocked to see that there are so many bad things by MUSLIMS non-muslim who cares but MUSLIMS how could they say that and aparently there were protest in cities against Dr Zakir Naik such a great person why is that going on what is wrong with those muslims??

good question, WHAT IS wrong with them? Allah swt protects the believers and again maybe these so called muslims are just traitors. They're not the first. InshaAllahu ta'ala dr. zakir naik will be fine. Do not Worry for Allah swt protects those whom he loves and he will protect dr. zakir naik as well inshaAllah. asalamu alaykum wrwb.

There are many Indian Imams mostly Barelwis/ and the heads & families ( Naqshbandis, Qadris etc ) who sit on shrines and have good business.

They oppose Zakir Naik because his preaching TAUHEED and the way of SALAF, as it directly contradicts their well established business which they have created in India.

There are many vedios on the web where these Barelwis/ and Shrine businessmen will be speaking against Zakir Naik because they are threatened by preaching the right Deen - Aqeedah.

We should not worry about these claims.

However Shias in India arent happy to what he said about Yazid....

Yes, very strange and weird but I'm not surprise. It is painful when muslim can't accept reality when spoke the truth with them. When I reverted to Islam, I annouced to my muslim friends especially those from Indian origin, surprisingly 8 out 10 start avoiding me since I announced. I came to know later from another revert that the reason they were avoiding me because they are aware as a muslim I will slowly know that they are a weak ummah.

I wish it is not true but unfortunately it is.

In fact i have no idea about this protest against Dr Zakir naik.But a want to tell u something very important the right way to allah swt is full of obstacles and the real muslim don't care about this ,in contarst it gives him power to continue his way strightly...and the prophet of allah 'salla allaho alaihi wasalam'and his relation with kufar quraish is a good example.....

there is a proverb in arabic which said :القافلة تمر والكلاب تنبح ==The convoy passed and the dogs bark...it is a simple proverb but has a clear meaning....

may allah guide us to the right path insha allah

Well it was not a large scale i didnt know about the India ones but about the Pakistan ones it may be only 1-50 people ....and they protested against Dr;zakir naik coz he said Razziallahuta'allaanhu.. (R.D) with the name of yazeed (r.d).....Most of Shia's and Qadris got angy with this but still they gotta face the truth.....And the protest was not only against Dr;Zakir naik Also the great scholar Dr;Israr Ahmad of pakistan......Well who cares no one listen to them..

Oh yes, i got you. Those were shias who protested againt Israr Ahmed and i think they must have protested against zakir naik as well.

I would like to hear your revert story.

My story? Nothing special brother. I was exposed to Islam when I was small but due to family resistence I dare not to revert. To make it short, I was abducted by a stranger and robbed all my money and was about to be killed. This happen before my marriage. I remember muslim friends in school days said that if you say shahaadah before you die, you will go to the heaven as muslim. So when my abductor wanted to chop my head, I say my shahaadah as I was powerless to fight him. I don't know what he saw, suddenly he ran away leaving me like there was ghost chasing him. I was confused and was in trauma. 3 years I was thinking about it I've no clue. Finally I discussed to a muslim friend who wanted to daawa me. I accepted his opinion which he said maybe Allah sent His angel to scare my abductor, Allah knows best.

No time wasting, I told my family I'm going to embrace Islam together with my wife who was also convinced that Islam is the way forward. Alhamdulillah, there were a lot of threats against our lives and we took shelter at friends house (all are muslim) but was chased out next day and not welcomed. Since no one going to help us from the threat, we stayed in hotel but later ran out of cash so we slept in the car at roadside. We went thru all this without any muslim friend coming to our aid though they know what I was going thru. Many muslim friends did not came fwd to help me and avoided me. Finally the one helped me was my wife's father, he is a hindu. He gave us some money so we moved out from our new house to rent an apartment at undisclosed location (even my father in law was not informed our location) so no one can find us.

Never mind, today I've a lot of true muslim friends.
