As Salamo Alaikome....

I have just 2 days left here in Morocco before my journey is over and I return back to my own life again. Sad news for me as I will be leaving a wonderful loving and the kindest family I have ever known. Happy because I learned everything I came here to learn and I will be taking valuable information home with me that could have taken me a long time if ever to learn had I not made this trip.

I have made memories that will last a lifetime here in Morocco and I hope to visit here again someday. I recommend if you ever get the chance to visit this magnificent country that you do so. I will never forget my experience here. I feel I have been so blessed and thank Allah every day. Praise Allah for choosing me to come to Islam and for giving me this once in a lifetime experience. I am forever grateful.........Allahu Akabar!!!! :tti_sister:

This is EXACTLY the message that I wish to convey to all American people not just to my close relatives and friends. If the people of Morocco are examples of what it means to be a true Muslim then I have chosen the right religion to follow and I am so proud to be called a Muslim. I wish I could shout it from the mountaintops in America so that everyone could hear me.

The people I have met here in Morocco are perfect examples of not just the Muslim Ummah but of what Allah and the prophet Muhammed (Sal Allahu Allahyi Wa Salam) wants ALL of humanity to act in such a manner. Everyone should behave this way towards each other and not just Muslims.

I want to share one more thing I forgot to mention........I went to pray in the Masjid on Friday for the congregational prayer (forgive me but I have forgotten the name its called) and after we left the masjid some of the women were standing outside and they came to me and my companion (the girl I am staying with) and they spoke to her in Arabic which of course I had no idea what they were telling her but then one woman hugged me in a complete bear hug kissing my face over and over again and speaking to me in Arabic. The other women lined up behind her and when she finally let me go (after some time passed) they all did the same hugging me and kissing my face. As we walked away my friend told me that they were all so happy about me becoming Muslim and they told her she is so lucky to be my friend. I really felt like a movie star or something special that day. I dont mean to make light of this gift from Allah believe me I understand how special it really is to be chosen by him but at the same time I feel sort of normal and wonder what all the fuss is about???? I feel like this was something so natural for me that once I heard the truth I would have been a fool NOT to have accepted Islam into my life. For me it just seemed like common sense. If you feel something so strong in your heart the way I feel Islam in my heart how can you deny the truth???? Maybe Im seeing this in the wrong way I dont know.

I will miss this place so much........the food.........the people.......the warmth and the love I have experienced. Now I go back home where nobody around me is Muslim (yet) and I just need to concentrate on letting people I know aware so they can possibly be chosen Inshallah.

I just got back to the USA last night but I stayed up very late putting the pictures I took while in the beautiful Morocco from my camera to my computer. I got them all loaded but got very sleepy and so I thought I would post them today but unfortunately I was called back to work so I didnt get a chance again. I will post them either tonight after work or else tomorrow so stayed tuned..........

Alhamdulillah I finally have some pictures to share of my Morocco visit.....but I cant figure out how to post them on this forum so if someone knows maybe you can help or I can send the pictures to you in email and you can post them??????
