:salam2:,

i read this @ ummah forum. thought to share w/ you all.

please dont take it hard on yourselves, Allah sees our intentions.

Did you know?
It's wrong to say InshaAllah
why?
Insha'aAllah is 2 words
Insha'a
Insha mean by Arabic "create" or "The establishment of"
And if u will add Allah to it ..
It will be create Allah or The establishment of Allah

TO SAY IT RIGHT
In arabic it's 3 words
إن شاء الله
IN Sha'a Allah
IN = IF
SHA'A = want
Allah
IF Allah Want
do u see Any difference?

SO.. please don't say inshaAllah anymore
SAY IT In shaAllah
or IN SHA'a Allah
OR IN sha'aAllah
keep IN away of Sha'a becouse if you will put them together it's will mean first meaning.

Wa'alikum Salaam Wa'rehmatullah,

Jazak Allah for the post. But don't you think that 'In shaAllah' and 'Insha'Alllah' are pronounced in very smiliar way? And what we are doing here is just try to transcribe إن شاء الله in English scripit; and there are always differences between the way different people would write alphabets of one language in some other language, e.g. Arabic in this case.

May be someone could correct me on this, but I think it doesn't really matter as the person themselves know what they mean and the individual at the other end (hopefully) konws that they meant 'If Allah wants, ...'.

Assalamu alaykum Brother Ahmed,

Do you mean emphasis on the word "In";

thus IN sha ALLAAH

as opposed to

inssha Allaah?

I don't think writing like that has any problem,as long as what is in our heart is correct,as we are not writing in arabic and most of the things that we write are like this.but we say "Insha ALLAH" not Insha'aALLAH". and alsp if u observe in the way you are now,then you can also see Insha'aAllah and inshaAllah are not written same.

:salam2: exactly.thats wat i'm saying..we are not using the word insha'a here.pls do not make islam difficult.writing satan,shaytaan,shaitan does not change the fact that we all call him shaitan and that is meant for him only.

it's a matter in Arabic language I think ,so we don't have to bother others with things they don't even know, a no Arabic speaker doesn't mean these difference so what's the big deal, that's all ...:)

it was not my personal article. as i said that it is wht i found in ummah.com forum.

i thought mayb ppl who know arabic can clarify.

but i agree with u all, saying insha'allah is fine. we shud not make the things tough.

then how should we say (inshallah)...is this the right way to pronouce 'inshallah'?

welcome back to TTI!

its fine to say inshaallah...i think its wrong to go so deep into issues like this (so i too am wrong)

Allah sees our intentions afterall.

brother, what u tried saying through this thread is right actually. but mostly people pronounce these words as it is convenient for them.
but the intentions in our hearts are the most important to ALLAH!
and ALLAH will accept it IN SHA' ALLAH :)

Wa'alaykum as-salaam warahmatullaah,

Wow, looks like things are pretty crazy over at Ummah Forum, some late nights I presume...

At the end of the day bro no matter how you write it, the word is Arabic so it doesn't matter! Like my name, I write it Yusuf, some write it Yoosuf, others write it Yousuf, some others write it Yusef, Yosuf and so on.

So inshaa'Allaah, or insha'Allah, or inshaAllah, or in shaa Allaah, lol we are all reading the same thing!

BarakAllahu feek.

Friends,
Intention has great weight with Allah Tallah, of course pronounce the correct way, but intention matter most.

I think this issue would make more sense if we are writing the word *in* Arabic..in English however...anyone can pronounce the word in their mind..and write it in the way *closest* to it...perhaps we all just need to remember *this*..when *reading* the word..*pronounce it* in its *correct* format..I think that's the best thing to do..and Allah Knows best

jazakAllahu khair for sharing the information. It surprised me bit when I saw during net-surfing, insh’Allah and mash’Allah and thought about it. I don’t know whether it’s variant or wrong pronunciation. This happens when Arabic is tone and pronounced into native languages that has many shortcuts. like Michael turns mike, jacqueline turns jacky, barbera to barbie, sikandar to siku or vinayak to vinu etc in such languages.Another thing with salam – greeting. It got shortened from ‘assalamu alaykum’ (peace be upon you ) or commendable saying ‘assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh’ according to sunnah.

...when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allâh (i.e. say: As-Salâmu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good.

The Noble Qur'an An-Nur 24:61

This happens with saying jazakAllah khair on net, when I saw zak or jak , it took long to realize.This happens with the beautiful name of prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wasallam), written Mohd, M or Moh or likes of that .Atleast name of prophet should be witten and pronunced in correct sense whether in Arabic or native language.– atleast ! even on net users being too lethargic to write or address correct name of other users who did addressed them.someone asked what is there in name? other replied, if there is nothing in name, than why your dad gave you a name!
