Precaution to all masculine whom dress clothes over ankles!

Assalam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

I want wary all my brothers whom dress clothes over ankles. There is many muslim brothers whom do this mistake and it is one of great sins that Profet Muhammad (saw) insisted on it very very much. there are many muslim who ignore it, but they don't know that it can be the reason to them at enter in the hell.
To ascertain that it is important thing that Profet insisted very much, he advised thier swahaba it and repeated it 3 times.
There are many sahih hadith insisted on it, tex: sahih bukharis book, Riad as salihins.

794. Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying, "There are three to whom Allah will neither speak on the Day of Resurrection nor will look at them nor purify them (i.e., of their sins), and they will be severely tormented." When he repeated this (statement) thrice, Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) said: "They are doomed and destroyed! (But) who are they, O Messenger of Allah (PBUH)?" He said, "One whose lower garment trails, one who boasts of kindness shown to another; and one who promotes sale of his business by taking false oaths.

795. Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not look at one who trails his lower garment, Qamees or turban arrogantly."

Bukhari :: Book 7 :: Volume 72 :: Hadith 674
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, 'Allah will not look at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit.''

I wary and advise to all muslim brothers whom usually dress clothes over ankles. This is a great sin that can caused a muslim to enter in the hell. This is not a ordinary Sunna as many others say, it is a very great Sunna as Faradh. May Allah help and lead all muslim brothers whom do this mistak(amin).

It means any clothes you wear must be worn above your ankles, and should not go below it, for it is a sign of pride, may Allah save us from that evil disease of pride, ameen. If it is kameez, thobe, trousers, lungi, or whatever other cultural clothes you may want to wear, all of these should be worn above your ankles

i have to cut all my pants first ................

i used to hear it since my childhood from my teachers, my parents and my brothers. but the problem was, we used to wear pants and if the pants were over ankle it looks kind of weird. that's why whatever our elders warned us not to wear below ankle we never listened it even though we know it was a great sin.:astag: i know people who wear pants here in the western world or in our country most of them don't care of them. when we pray we just fold our pants over our ankle. but when we pray in the mosque, some of us fold the pants over ankle but more than 80 percent brothers they don't do that. personally i admit that i am committing sin knowing everything. i know i should cut all my pants shorter. my question is if it is a great sin like that why most of the people don't care about that?

I would like to know this so that I can explain it to my siblings with a valid reason. Another thing is, I never seen anyone wearing like this before not even in Saudi. Should it be worn like this only in the mosque or everywhere at all.

I would like to know this so that I can explain it to my siblings with a valid reason. Another thing is, I never seen anyone wearing like this before not even in Saudi. As the hadith mentions, it this kind of boasting or pride you could say. And Allah T'ala hates that person who boasts.

For the question the brother asked above, know oh brother in islam, that because many do not do it does not mean it is right. Remember majority will end up in hell fire, to the extent that one out of every 1000 people will enter paradise. So do not worry about what people think, at the end of the day none of the people who may mock you or even laugh at you, will come and accompany you on the day of judgement. Well they would not even accompany you in your grave, let alone the day of judgement ¬_¬

P.S you do not need to cut your trousers shorter, you can just fold it up untill it is above your ankles
