If we listen to Al-Qur `an, Hadith the Prophet and information 'Salaf and the' Ahlus Sunnah scholars who followed their trail well we shall find that the singing and music is haraam. Among theses are:
1. Allah the Exalted says:
ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله بغير علم ويتخذها هزوا
"And among men (there are) people who use" words that are not useful "to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge and make it God's way derision." (Luqmaan: 6)
Most commentators state that is meant by "words that are not useful" is a song. Ibn Mas'ud said: "It is the song. By Allah, there is no God who is entitled to the worship none but Him. "He repeated it three times.
And said Al-Hasan Al-Bashriy: "This verse falls associated with singing and musical instruments." (See Tafsiir Ibni Katsiir 6 / 145 cet. Maktaba Ash-Shafaa)
2. The Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam said:
ليكونن من أمتي أقوام يستحلون الحر والحرير والخمر والمعازف
"Really, really going to have from my ummah people-people who justify adultery, silk, wine (liquor) and ma'aazif." Ma'aazif is music. (Narrated by al-Bukhariy and Abu Dawud)
The meaning of this hadeeth is that it will come from among the Muslims, people who believe that adultery, wearing pure silk, drink wine (ie all that intoxicating) and the music is permissible, but all it is haraam.
While ma'aazif are all instruments that have a tone and a regular voice like a lute, guitar, piano, flute, drums, drum, tambourine and others. Even the bell ma'aazif even including, according to the words of the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam:
الجرس مزامير الشيطان
"Bell is the flute Shaitan." (Narrated by Muslim)
This hadith shows that the bells are hated because of his voice and the people first placed it animal necks. Indeed this bell similar to the An-Naaquus (sort of gong or a gong) used Nashara people. And the use of bells in the home, schools and other than can be replaced with a bul-bul (of birds) is a device sold in the markets.
3. Have been reported from Al-Imam Ash-Shafi'i in al-Qadhaa `:" Singing is a game (vanity) that resembles the hated errors. Anyone who reproduce so he is a fool who rejected witness. "The definition of hate in here is prohibited and unlawful shari'ah.
It's mean that music without instruments is halal (allowed)
