Ilm-e-kitab

Salamuliakum,

I was wondering if this information regarding the ilm-e-kitab is correct..
*!*!*!SHIA-SITE*!*!*!XREMOVED*!*!*!
Is it true? So was Asaf a prophet of Allah? I know that Asaf was Solomens Minister. Also is the ilm-e-kitab the keys to the universe? or just laws of the governing universe? Also since were in this, if say one can control the universe with the whole "Book of Knowledge" does that mean, he can warp reality, control spacetime and do such beyond stuff *shudders* ?

WHAT? :angryred:

Astagfrula, brother can you please give me an authenticated data about this subject?

Well reading the top of the article:

The article provides references to Quran and both Shi'ite and Sunnite collections of traditions.

Never knew we had "traditions" in the Sunnah. Best not waste time reading this article.

Oh damn. Realyl so the shiat belief is wrong? I thought Islam was about unity? and How is unity a disguise?

About the ilm-e-kitab and the keys to the universe and about Asaf (minister of solomen), was he a prophet?

Its better you ask a Scholar on this subject I have mentioned earlier also in your post about your quest for knowing the unseen.Anyways here are few links if you could benefit from and may ALLAH guide you with right knowledge.

Mashallah,

Thanks for the links. I think a scholar would help, but i don't know of any here in toronto. Also I mean Allah is the soverign controller of the universe, as unto him belongs the keys to the heavens and the earth (39: 62, 63), but everything comes by the grace and will of Allah, so the keys of the universe can come from Allah and not nessarily be disputed to be attributing partners to Allah. Also your link about the Unseen, I never disagreed, but our Prophet was the bringger of Glad tiding and whatever unknown he has been given by Allah was for the purpose of Glade tiding, our Prophet (PBUH) himself said he doesn't know of Allah's ghayb "Beyond" and about the treasures (keys to the unseen "beyond) whatever it might be *shudders*

:angryred: this aspiration is so confusing...

But yeah.. :)

If you search the site you will notice its a Shia website, they have articles of various ayatollats which are like shia priests on their websites

Dont go to it, go to Islaam.ca or some other authentic Muslim source. you got to be carefull what website you use since many people use websites under the name Islam when they have noting to do with the religion.

Its pretty clear if you have read those and you can write to the Scholar on links about your question. Also you should analyze where would this aspiration would lead you?

Jakkaz Allah Kahir brother for that PDF. Inshallah I'll find a scholar to get my answers, but are they trustworthy? I just sometimes don't trust scholars as they tend to be biased and some have deviant shiat values. Anyway I read your PDF, it is logical and makes sense. There was one line that says that we as creation can contemplate some of the unseen/unknown/beyond, but not all as how can contemplate Allah the greatest of the unseen/unknown/beyond/infinte/absolute, and since he is bearer of the great divine treasure and the keys to the unseen/unknown/beyond/absolute/infinte (what ever it is *shudders*) i don't what to say
