Assalaam walaikum,
I have no issue with the executioner. He seems to be an upright man.
What is up with the female reporter. I found her highly offensive. She smiled like a child in a candy store. Her questions are immature. And folks whats up with the make-up and hijab. What about the intermingling with men?
I have no problem with capital punishment. I do have problems with the legal system in the US. I do not know if there is corruption is Saudi Arabia.
:salam2:wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuhu...
excatly!!what she doing up there smiling like as if she's in a tooth paste add

and when it comes to the hijaab i couldn't help thinking how it was improper. This isn't her place to be in let alone with a non mahram and be decorated like that.it's so wrong

astag:may ALLAH guide us all.
@ red sister we kno even if there is corruption and supposing there are the most corrupt ppl with punishments like that it's gonna be 1% of that in US of any other place in the world inshallah.
Assalaam walaikum,
If it is sharia..we can not disagree. It is just and swift. I have been pondering this for a long time.
It is better to face the punishment in this life. A dear dear brother and I had a discussion. He stated over and over again..chastise me now..
We are told in the Quran if we can forgive it is better.
I read a case where a man was beheaded. His crime: he took a three year girl to the desert and raped her. After the rape he left her to die.
What may appear to be cruel and unusual is not the case.
Now, I will admit I know little of the actual legal process. I am familiar with the Judeo-Christian laws as applied in the US. I find the legal process here to be wrong. If someone with knowledge could enlighten us it would be most welcome.
@ green:i couldn't agree more.what is from ALLAH is what is for the best of humanity inshallah.one may see beheading as a cruel thing to do but we must consider both sides of the picture.why did he do that he's beheaded???
@orange it's sick!!
Yes, they cut the hand off. Terrible.
No sister terrible is what they do to HUMANS in cells like gauntanomo and abu ghuraib or whatever it's called and the likes.....
a robber theif has no business with other ppl stuff.if he does what he does then cell sentence would never change him.but a missing hand will be a constant reminder(atleast he's protected from hellfire this way.this world isn't the only place.that's important to keep in mind!!).may ALLAH protect us all from the acts that lead to punishments of duniya and akhira.ameen
And the purpose for this stuff being aired is???.....So much for protecting the innocent, I wonder how many youths have cast their eyes over that and made up their minds that Islam is the right way to go.
This stuff shouldnt even be being aired let alone being passed around. That guys kids are going to be following in their dads footsteps, this is scary stuff. What the hell are we doing to the world? and each other?
PEACE
good Question!!i was going to ask this but since you got a head of me already so i'll just highlight it
it isn't exactly the best way to remind ppl that we have to watch our actions!!many who don't realise the weightage of sins and it's punishments are seeing it from a cruel, inhuman angle. So much for the media to shake our minds lol!!
