* Imprision them to make them think about their sins, give them a chance to seek redemption
* Let Allah take them naturally.

These sentence is for serious offence commit like for cold murderer!
Usually most of the country like in yours will carry it out by hanging or electric chair or fatal injection !It seems common then to some people but beheaded is still same in the application.

Haven't you heard of blood money?Or an eye for an eye?
This is what i refered to as Stay Out of Trouble.
Yes ofcourse it sad to see another one to die after the other one but many of the victim family that had lost the life of their love one would like the same fate happen to the person who took it as to repay it back!

What is up with the female reporter. I found her highly offensive. She smiled like a child in a candy store. Her questions are immature. And folks whats up with the make-up and hijab. What about the intermingling with men?

I have no problem with capital punishment. I do have problems with the legal system in the US. I do not know if there is corruption is Saudi Arabia.

If it is sharia..we can not disagree. It is just and swift. I have been pondering this for a long time.

It is better to face the punishment in this life. A dear dear brother and I had a discussion. He stated over and over again..chastise me now..

We are told in the Quran if we can forgive it is better.

I read a case where a man was beheaded. His crime: he took a three year girl to the desert and raped her. After the rape he left her to die.

What may appear to be cruel and unusual is not the case.

Now, I will admit I know little of the actual legal process. I am familiar with the Judeo-Christian laws as applied in the US. I find the legal process here to be wrong. If someone with knowledge could enlighten us it would be most welcome.

I thought to myself "how sad this world has become when even MUSLIMS who are trying to defend our beautiful religion have to resort to such foul language instead of self control against ignorance". This is probably why people who dont know anything about Islam assume our religion is a big joke. I understand they are angry at the non-believers comments and insults but they would better serve Islam to have patience and show intelligence when making their points. We are the examples of Islam to the whole world so if we act like the kafr then what are we proving but that we ARE like them???

This is Sharia..we cannot go against that but we must understand this is a lesson to every person watching it the person watching it will be so scared he will never do that mistake in his lifetime and imagine a murderer, rapist, robberer, watching this punishment standing in the public and feel the Consequence with his naked eyes infront of him may be the fear will avoid him to do any further murders, rapes, robbery, etc this will safe so many lifes and keep so many families safe..Alhumdulilah this law of Sharia is no harm to humanity neither it is act of inhumanity we muslim are example for this mankind - May Allah (SWT) safe us from any of these situations and always bless us with his mercy Ameen!

I agree with Aapa what was wrong with that lady reporter ???? why was she smiling so much and what was the point of that hijab ???????? I'm in Kuwait and believe me I feel so shame to say this but Arab's are worst than other muslims May Allah (SWT) guide them all Ameen!

excatly!!what she doing up there smiling like as if she's in a tooth paste addand when it comes to the hijaab i couldn't help thinking how it was improper.This isn't her place to be in let alone with a non mahram and be decorated like that.it's so wrongastag:may ALLAH guide us all.

This is what I don't understand, she couldn't help to be raped.

Translation from the holy al qur'an.

Is that better by way of hospitality or the tree of Zaqqum which We have made to be an ordeal for the wrongdoers? It is a tree that emerges in the depths of the Blazing Fire. Its fruits are just like the heads of satans. They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it. (Surat as-Saffat, 62-66)

They have no food but a bitter thorny bush which neither nourishes nor satisfies. (Surat al-Ghashiyya, 6-7)

He used not to believe in Allah the Magnificent, nor did he urge the feeding of the poor. Therefore here today he has no friend nor any food except exuding pus which no one will eat except those who were in error.' (Surat al-Haqqa, 33-37)

And beyond him is Hell where he will be given pus to drink. He gulps at it but can hardly swallow it down. Death comes at him from every side but he does not die. And beyond him is relentless punishment. (Surah Ibrahim, 16-17)

The Tree of az-Zaqqum is the food of the wicked, seething in the belly like molten brass, as boiling water bubbles and seethes. (Surat ad-Dukhan, 43-46)
