Inshallah all my brothers and sisters here at TTI are in good health and Iman.

As the title to this thread suggests I feel bad for thinking such things but really it has been on my mind for a few days now and Im not sure if I should even post about it as it could be the shaitan putting these thoughts in my mind.

The other day as I was reading Quran the thought came to me and it has bothered me ever since. I wondered why in Quran Allah states that he will test all of mankind for the purpose of being sure which of his slaves is honestly believing and who are the hyprocrites.

My confusion comes as a result of reading many times through Quran that Allah is all knowing of everything. Even that which is hidden in our breasts. So that makes me wonder what is the need for Allah to test his slaves when he already knows what the outcome will be???

May Allah forgive me if I should not be wondering of these things which Im sure he has a reason for and I am in NO WAY questioning him or his majesty. I am in AWE of our lord but sometimes these things pop into my head and in this particular case it wont go away and I keep thinking about it. Is this the shaitan trying to confuse me??? I feel bad for even questioning anything in Quran because I truely believe it is the word of God. Please put my mind to rest if you are able and tell me how I can stop thinking these crazy thoughts.

Salam alaikum.

Just like we are put in a test in school so teachers can judge our knowledge, the teachers already know the answers to the questions, but do we?

So really it is Allah Who is ofcourse All-Knowing, but we are put on a test in this life.
SubhanAllah all praise be to Allah,

Your concern is okay, and Allah will ofcourse love to see you being feared to question the Qur'an (only if you don't understand part of it because of the knowledge, but not everyone is knowledgable, that's why the Qur'an was bought down, Alhamdulillah) , but even in the old days people asked questions to the Prophet s.a.w, so don't be scared to ask questions! :)

Ws. :)

:wasalam:,

understanding Islam better is not prohibited. your questions are genuine...so dont worry.:)

now regarding your question, someone too asked the same question to a scholar, so he replied that ofcourse Allah knows the outcome. but if He will punish humans and jinns without going through test, we will say to Him...why do punish us as we did no sins.

so by these tests, humans will be witness against themselves that they themselves are responsible for it and that no injustice is done to them.

and Allah knows best.

You know after reading this post of yours brother I just realized this answer is in the Quran. Allah has told us in Quran almost word for word what you posted here! I dont know why I question such things and dont remember everything that I read in Quran until I see it posted by someone else. I have actually read Quran 7 times and going on 8 but remembering what I am reading is another thing.

Jazakallah khairan for the reminder brother. May Allah reward you for your effort.
