Hopin & Prayin everyonez in best of Health & Imaan Inshaallah,
Its been long i posted somethin..
Wel,
I just wanted to confirm, if the postures of Salaah (prayer in Islam) are different for men & women??
As far as my knowledge, according to the famous Bukhari Hadith the Prophet
said,"Pray as you have seen me praying.."
As he didnt mention it different for men & women.. it makes sense that he
referred it to mankind as whole, right?
Some girls, i know, pray in an unusual manner which i found very strange, & when questioned they gave me a brief explanation & following Hadith references too. Can someone please help me out in knowing how authentic are the hadiths i mentioned here, also mentioning the authenticity of its chain of narration? Please that would be of great help..as i sense they are fabricated..
The Hadiths are:
They also told me that the verdicts of many Sahaaba (R.A.) and Taabieen are also recorded in the books of Hadith, which clearly establish the various differences in the Salaah of women. How true is that??
Jazakallahu Khairan wa Kaseeran

The Hadiths are:
1) Yazid bin Abi Habib reports that the Prophet
passed by two women who were praying Salaah. He said: “When you prostrate, let part of your body cling to the earth, for women are unlike men in this regard” (Maraseel of Imaam Abu Dawood).
2) Sayyidina Ibn Umar (R.A.) narrates that the Prophet
said: “When a woman sits in Salaah, she should place one thigh over the other, and when she prostrates, she should press her stomach to her thighs in a manner that is the most concealing for her. Indeed Allah looks at her saying: Oh my angels! I make you witness that I have forgiven her” (Baihaqi).
3) Sayyidina Wail bin Hujr (R.A.) reports that the Prophet
said: “O Ibn Hujr! When you pray make your hands level with your ears. And the woman shall raise her hands close to her bosom” (Tabrani).
