Dua is needed for new mosque

Dear sisters and brothers please make dua for my tiny islamic community in my home town. We are looking for place for first mosque in my home town. Here are living about 100 muslims around. For this place we are creating place to pray and also short courses for new muslims, children and for teaching language (both Finnish and Arabic for reading Quran) for immigrant muslims.

OH HOW WONDERFUL! I too pray that your town can build a mosque for you. Maybe it can even be a community built mosque and not just a Muslim built one....so that the whole town can feel pride in it and treat it respectfully....<I hope that all came out right...>

In my country muslims make a lot of co-operation with other religion communities too. We don´t see any problem make work with christians for example.

But no, my town is not built mosque to us - we are doing it by ourselves. Brick by brick if it is needed.

:salam2: Funny you should use the term "brick by brick"...I just watched a movie the other day called "The Last Brickmaker In America" with Syndey Poitier. He is the mentor of a troubled 13 year old boy who's parents going through a divorce and he's stuck in the middle and getting into trouble. With the brickmaker's guidance and hard work making brick for a library at his school, the kid owns up to his responsibilities and the family comes back together.

Its amazing sometimes what teamwork can do...When I was a Jehovah's witness, I participated in a few building weekends where hundreds of brothers and sisters came together to build a new Kingdom hall. We went from having a foundation to services in the hall in two days. What a wonderful experience!! Have fun and good luck!
