Happy thoughts

Assalaam walaikum,

Brothers and sisters let us just post something innocent and happy. I wake up to reading gloom and doom, I see gloom and doom, and I am a Muslim so there can not be gloom and doom.

My secular concern is what is up with skinny jeans....they are as bad as seeing men in speedo's at the beach. ( that even makes me blush)

Well... I dunno if this counts as innocent or happy, but I got myself like 5 new boxes of Gerber baby food AND I'M PRETTY HAPPY. No scratch that, it actually made my day! :lol:
Yes, I eat baby food and IT'S SO GOOD. It's my guilty pleasure, so there goes my confession! :SMILY149:

To be honest, I did not understand what that meant. Yes, I'm a very slow person. LOL. Although I do feel there's a hint of sarcasm in there. Sarcasm doesn't get through well over the internet, not my fault! ._. lol.

:salam2:Appa wanted to laugh among other.It was not at all ill meant ukhti i was just being silly.Inshallah she won t mind.

As far as the tight jeans are concerned.I find it quite concerning that a person might put on their best and most elegant clothes to apply for a job,or to propose to a future bride..etc .And not feel the need or have the same awareness when you go meet with Allah swt in his house.I guess the cure is a spiritual one of learning to enjoy the prayer ,understand and feel what you are saying instead of perceiving it as a sort of mechanical sequence of movements.Starting to deeply think with the heart instead of rules rules and rules Islam is balanced we Muslims sometimes fall short or tight as you say.The rules are there to guide our paths to a deeper spiritual intelligence they are not there without reason.Allah knows best

Well if i dont mistake she was referring to the thread of Sister Sarah, on brothers going to the mosques with jeans...If not just ignore that and carry on with your baby thing there.

I recently moved to a beach community. I was walking on the beach when I thought I saw a naked man. I averted my eyes. He had on a thong. And he was quite proud of his physique. I was not.

I was at jumma prayers when a young man greeted me with the warmest salaam and he had on the tightest skinny jeans in the world.

I lowered my gaze.

It was too cold at the beach to be in a thong.
I could not visualize how the young man in the skinny jeans could prostrate.

I love vanilla pudding.

I am going to go eat some greasy hot french fries and drink a vanilla shake..that will make me very happy!!!

Oh and I see the extremes in my school! Skinny jeans and extremely baggy pants hanging below their underpants. What's the point of wearing a belt!? lol, It's funny to watch 'em walk though! :lol:

Lol.

There's this guy in my area who dresses like a woman. He wears mini skirts and tight tops and he's got long blond hair but a MANs face LOL. It's hilarious because all the other men might think he's an ordinary lady, until he turns around and shows his face *shock* o_O
