Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh brothers and sisters,
I hope and pray that ya'll are in the best of health/imaan.
It has been awhile since I posted new threads! but insha'Allah ima try to post new things as time goes on.
For now I'd like your thoughts on::
So, I am taking a world religions class this semester....(yea its REALLY interesting by the way) I enjoy it! alhamdulillaah.
But I kind of need your thoughts on something, I am supposed to do a presentation on Jesus. My first thought was to do Jesus in Islam, but my teacher wants me to do something about Jesus in Christianity. I chose to do Christianity as my project, so all the facts and the research I share must be under Christianity in which case the topic of "Jesus in Islam" will not work that well. So, my teacher's idea was for me to do research in early Christianity, the influence of Paul, and the debate of who Jesus REALLY was (according to early Christianity).
Has anyone done something like this? what would be your advice? thoughts?? should I just go with the early Christianity and the influence of Paul??
May Allaah reward you guys for your input! ameeen
Salaam
