im 13 and want to learn of islam

so im new to these forums to have help with islam. Im 13 and was born in america with not really any practicing muslims, and my father a muslim that dosnt attend prayers and literly cant o to a place of prayer seeing how there are almost no muslims where i live.

Yes i have read the quran, the english tranclation my arabic isnt that good. I will start a few posts in the general diccusion place to ask what i should do in such and such scenario according to islam.
