I am a recent convert to Islam, looking to expand my knowledge and make new friends. I’m from Quebec, Canada and was born and raised an Orthodox Christian, but was introduced to Islam by a friend of mine. My family and childhood friends weren't exactly supportive of my choice to convert to Islam, so I’m living with an Aunt of mine on Ottawa now. I’m looking forward to a lot of discussions and the opportunity to meet new people...especially sisters who can relate to what I’m going through.
