The first book would be the Kitaab of Allah (Qur'an). it is very important for us to read it day and night even if it 5 minute.

I love to read I hope some of you who are readers like me would recommend some books you like to read or read. these are some of the Islamic books I liked. You could also recommend non-muslim books as long as there is no haram thing in them.

. Kitabat-Tauhid. By Sheikh-ul Islam Muhamad bin Abdul-Wahhab.
. Parenting in the West. By Dr. Ekram and Dr. Mohamed Rida Bashir.
. Great Women of Islam who were given the good news of paradise. By Mohamood Ahmed Ghadanfar.
. The Harmony of Marriage in Islam By Muhammad bin Luffi as-Sabagh

someone recommended this book to me I would like to read it inshaAllah

. Zadul Ma'aad (Provisions for the Hereafter). by Ibn Qayim Al Jawziya
. Science, sense, and soul: the mystical physical nature of Humen existance By Casey Blood.

Thanks for the link sister, there is also Simply Islam, i dont know much about it but that is where i purchased the Holy Quran and today received a book which included a collection of dua's from the Holy Quran and Sunnah, seems to be very good after a little flick through, inshallah will try and read, memorize and understand them.

If anyone else is interested here is the link to the book:

http://simplyislam.com/iteminfo.asp?Item=1106

Its a orange and white colour, thats the one i received.

Inshallah i think these small steps lead us to greater knowledge and keep us on the Siraatul Mustaqeem.

Alhamdulilah
