can you serve other people non-halal meat?

My parents are throwing a graduation party for me. I've asked them not to, but they're still going ahead with it. They're Christian and they don't know about my conversion and I'm not about to tell them right now.

For the party, they're ordering three subs (those huge 2 ft. party sub sandwiches). I got them to agree to not order one with ham on it, and to order a vegetarian one, but the other two have beef and turkey on it.

My question is: Is it a sin for me to serve "my" guests non-halal meat? Keep in mind they're all going to be atheist or Christian and the few (if any) Muslims attending would only eat the vegetarian sub, or nothing at all.

I think it all depends on YOUR intentions. You don't want a graduation party but your Christian parents are sort of forcing the event to happen and serving what they want.

Only Allah knows your state and condition and what your intentions are. You will be rewarded for your intentions (inshallah), because you are trying to strive towards the path of Allah swt.

As in not slaughtered according to islamic laws. I think thats what she meant
And if u are unsure dont eat it...

it would be a good time to tell your folks about you being a muslim.

as far as the sandwiches go, it's a weird situation. avoid the ones with the ham, but let the people eat what they will.

generally i would say that giving non muslims haram things is still haram. if pork is haram for muslims, it is haram for non muslims. if alcohol is haram for muslims, it is haram for non muslims. why? because islam is a religion for all of humanity. we were created to worship and serve Allah swt.by giving them sinful things we are helping them partake in that sin. we can't be enablers to sin. one day someone mistakingly bought me a ham sandwich, and i threw it out. some would say that i should've given it to someone else, but i said no because Allah forbids me to eat it, so I know Allah forbids him to eat it. even though he is not a muslim Allah swt created him to be a muslim. he just isn't following Allah's will.
