As a matter of principle we should always support the construction of mosques. That is only my opinion.

yes brother. And as long as i know they are gonna definately open a madrasha to teach the childs in this mosque.
if big mosques has system of teaching then this mosques are alive more then other mosques.

We Need Mosque Like This.
Assalam aleikum,
We do need mosque Mosque in Europe/Western World. For the following reasosn.
1)The design/plan of the mosque is designed where by it will be direct connected to Wembly Stadium .There will be a passage from Wembley Stadium direct to the mosque .The advantage of this is that those people(non-muslim and muslim) who go/visit Wemley Stadium let say for Olympic Games e.t.c will benefit .Non-muslims they will be able to visit the mosque and findout about Islam.And those muslim will have a place to pray.
2)Its is the biggest mosque in the Europe and non-muslim they may be corious to find out what is islam..
3)Muslim in Europe and also in the world will be proud of having this beautifull mega mosque.
3)Do u remember the youngest muslims were attracted to Islam when they move to a town where there is mosque from a town where they didnt saw any mosque.
Ofcourse u dont expect non-muslim to control the mosque because mosque is for the muslims .they maybe a group of muslims who may not want toshare/allowed other muslim to use the mosque ...but this is for muslims to discuss and to solve it .you may also have right to send email to propose or request anything u want.
4)It is true other big mosques are not filled up with worshippers. But imagine like Friday prayers where by muslims are filled up in the mosque and also any islamic congress ,we will have a big place to accomodate all muslims.

You know that I am not against establishing Mosques or any other Islamic facilities.
But building a 17 acre; 70,000 people prayer facility?
I have NOT been to any Mosque in London for any prayer apart for Jumuah with more then 500 people praying MAX!
Consider the numbers in Bold, seriously.
I am NOT a tableeghi by any stretch of imagination but I like to keep track of what’s happening, why & where!
The following should not be twisted into my opinion of Tableeghi Jamaat; it’s just my subjective analysis of the situation ONLY and I am liable to error in calculating things…
This is going to be the new London Tableeghi Jamaat Markaz. The current London Tableeghi Markaz is in East London which was purchased and built less then 5-6 years ago! Before that the Markaz was a small place in East London. The newest Markaz has slight parking problems but that’s about it. There are neither short of space nor short for Jamaat activities
The current Tableeghi Markaz of UK is at Dewsbury & already holds thousands and I believe is the largest Mosque in Europe.
The current Dewsbury Markaz has prayer facilities, Jamaat facilities and a Madrasah!
1) There is no way that the Madrasah will MOVE to London!
2) There is no way that the Jamaat distribution will MOVE to London!
Both 1 & 2 were done by the express Mushwara of late Ameer of Tableeghi Jamaat; Maulana Inamul Hasan (RA)…
It was decided in 1984 in Nizamuddin, Delhi under the Ameership of Maulana Inamul Hasan (RA) that NO NEW MARAKAZ will be built anywhere!
Special permission for the current Markaz of London was given because the problem existed for years….
So I would like to honestly ASK from Tableeghi Jamaat brothers/sisters; what is this structure for? And WHO in Nizamuddin (New Delhi) or Raiwind (Pakistan) has approved it? And in which Mushwara?
I am again reiterating and hoping that my words will not be twisted; I am simply asking some very valid questions; which have been in my mind (& others) for a while;
We as Muslims in UK are bing asked to support a project which we are unusre of; I hope that asking questions is not a crime.
P.S:AlKathiri! Don't ask for my sources...I can absolutely assure you that I don't go in Jamaat & I don't attend the Mushwaras.

Can you imagine the parking around the area on eid!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOOWWW and not to mentions muslims have an aversion to car parks where you pay!!!
Is it a way for the government to incrase income from parking fines???????
Green lane mosque is right next to morrisons and football ground.....i dont see foty fans going to the masjid ...they avoid it and go to the pub down the road!!!

assalam,we usualy call that integration but a real big whole hearted one but some may call it invasion.....lol so who`s meaculpa is it here ?we are certainly not defining criterias and notions here we are just applying them east cost style may be it is like when you go on holydays for a week and embarque with all your clothes the pictures and the gold fish.... As for the parking fines just say you are muslim and am sure you get a special treatement by the authorities. we could even do dawah to them. am sure we will fish some to work for us. instead with a lifetime guaranteed job.to supervise those who put the fines it would be acctually a promotion if you really think about it.$$$$$....lol:salam2:

about green lane mosque? its depend on them what kind of activities they have in their mosque. For example the markaz of india pakistan or bangladesh are alive with Amal of prophet Mohammad mosque(sw) of madina. 24 hours of the day people are busy with their amals in those mosques like mosques of madina and makka.Because they have whole day programs related islam.
there are a lot of ways to give dawah to others. When prophet mohammad (sw) reach in madina he made the mosque and from their he start to work upon the peoples. Mosque for a muslim is so importent, just like fish need water to live. People can made their Iman, charecter,behaviour and every things which we should learn according to islam from mosque. Then we can live ooutside of mosque and will do our business but our business will be the reason of a lot of muslims who will accept islam like it happend in indonessia and many other places. I think we should help them how they could be make better this mosque by a lot of ways.Because we dont know what kind of fruits it will get in next few years. build a mosque is also not against hikmah and baseera, also not harmful for dawah worker who ever are doing it.

brother the national mosque of bangladesh is also near of national stadium of dhaka. And according to olamas its not harmful for islam.May be there are 5000 peoples who watching gamses but after games 200 people try to come in this mosque. As we know Bangladesh was a land of hindu people but if those masheikhs would seated on their chair by thinking that year 1900 bangladesh will be a muslim country!!!! impossible!! we were not now a muslim.

brother from where got we this information that this mosque will be empty like other mosque?
they just bought it and need maximum 3-4 years to build the mosque properly.
And as long as i know people start allready to pray in this place and start also the amal´s of prophet mosque of madina.
the capacity of this mosque is nearly 70000 but if every pray 100 people come to pray i dont know what should i say people calling it empty mosque.
For example the national mosque of bangladesh capacity is also nearly 70000(not sure) but fajar time not more than 100 people are there. does it mean we can call it empty mosque?

If it's in london then parking might not be such a huge issue. muslims also have an aversion to the congestion charges. they might avoid the mosque all together.:salam2:

Building a mosque ( masjid )

Dear bros and sis,
Building a masjid is the first item that Rasulullah saw did when he started calling people to Allah subhanahu wataala. He build it first ( at Al arqam ) and started from there. The rest is history.
But if you read history carefully, there was time when masjid was built during the time of Rasulullah saw, not for the purpose of Islam and Allah subhanahu wataala and the building was demolished immediately by the muslim.
In this age and time, we really cannot tell what are their intentions and purposes, and where the money are coming from? ( charity from community, from billionaire, govt or where? )
At face value, just build the mosque, surely there will be muslim using it for its purpose and the rest leave it to Allah subhanahu wataala.
Create activities around the mosque for muslim, new muslim and non-muslim.
The area should include daycare centre, library, centre for teaching and learning, place for counselling and whatever good things that comes in mind. Count the quality not the quantity. ( only the best intention i.e ikhlas attract Allah's mercy whatever small it is )
Make the place vibrant and alive and it will last forever inshaallah.
Just giving my two cents.
