Assalaam walaikum,
Sister Harb,
This is not personal whatsoever. This is more like an exercise in reasoning.
Sister Esperanza,
Where did I get my facts...let's see....I read the major think tanks, afterall policies are made by them, in order to make a decision one has to obtain facts from every side of the equation. I read everything and then make an assessment.
I keep rewriting the same thing. Where in Sharia does it state that refraining from action, that maybe reckless in the longrun is a sin.
Your anger is misguided. You have no right to be angry with me. None whatsoever.
Please bear in mind that I am going deep into the issue. I keep bringing up Sharia and you ignore it.
Muslims are being killed in Sudan..why not some compassion there? It is very close to the events in Syria. War games, sister. War games.
And finally,
Sister...quote hadidth and Quran to justify your position. Anger has no place because it belittles thought and reduces it to a woman ranting and raving.
