Assalaam walaikum,
Brother,
Now do not start an argument. That is not the purpose of my posting...be adult and answer these questions because they are sincere:
Why do I keeping reading that the "rebels" are receiving $1 million every other day from some ME country?
Why do I keep reading that this is making Hollywood very happy..and why am I reading that the "rebels" are interested in democracy? And why is this better than Libya?
And how does Sudan get involved?
Assalaam walaikum,

Assalamu Alaikkum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Sister esperanza, All the videos shown to us, it will definitely appeal our emotions and make our hearts melt. But, decisions are not based on emotions. Sometimes, non-involvement and silence actually reduces the problem. And sometimes, speaking about it and reacting, will increase the problem. I am not saying this for the case of syria, but for any kind of fitna that may arise. True, we should send medicines and food to syria to muslims. But, this is why we are silent sometimes :

I am not saying do not send medicines, money or food. I am saying regarding talking about the problem.
Assalaam walaikum,
Sister,
You are not an expert on international affairs. You are in no position to declare jihad. And you are in position to force your views on anyone.
If this is your jihad..go and do something. Go and help the cause.
Short of that be careful sister... you are constantly casting sins.
All I am saying is this is about nationalism. Please read your history. And this is a geo-political mess that has been on the table for many years. That obscure link had you read it, provided the dates of bringing Syria back to being a colony. That is the only purpose Syria serves.

Jihad For Syria
(Defending The Innocent Muslims)
The Syrian government has declared war against the Muslims within Syria. With thousands of Muslims - men, women and even children- being ruthlessly murdered and killed by the Syrian army, sometimes in really horrendous manner. There seems to be no response from anybody, especially the Muslims, to the cries and pleas from the Muslims.
The actions of the criminal government of Syria come as no surprise. The government which is composed of the disbelieving entity of Nusayri Alawis – a shia sect that all scholars have declared as disbelievers- make up the secular socialist Baath Party. Their hatred for Sunni Muslims has been evident for a long time and they have always dealt harshly against the people. In the past, in Hama, they had killed over 10,000 people and levelled many parts of the city. This event was seen as “the single deadliest act by any Arab government against its own people in the modern Middle East.”
In the current day we see this oppression continuing by the tyrant Bashar Al Assad, sending heavy artillery to Homs in an effort to crush anti-regime protests. With consistent bombardment and treacherous Syrian soldiers pillaging, raping and murdering thousands of innocent Muslims. Also there have been violent crack-downs and forced detainment of thousands of Muslims.
The situation in Syria cannot be ignored by the Muslims. There have been many Muslims lands were we remained silenced over in the past which has resulted in their complete destruction and devastation for the Ummah. It is important that we do not let the same happen to the Muslims in Syria. The Prophet (saw) said:
“The example of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, and fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it feels pain the whole body feels pain.” [Muslim]
As Muslims we should be united in the pain and the suffering that is occurring in Syria. Therefore we should respond to the cries of our brothers and sisters and relieve them of their pain. Our obligation is to help the Muslims of Syria in whichever way we can. The Prophet (saw) said:
“Support the Jihad with your wealth, lives and tongues.''
We should do all we can to help and support the innocent victims who are defenceless against the Syrian Government and army. We should come out and condemn the oppressors of Syria and show solidarity with the Ummah in Syria. The least of what we can do is make dua that Allah keep the Muslims firm and give Muslims victory over their enemies.
go to ther hell you too you are all kufar
Distinguishing Between Declaring Sayings and Actions as Kufr and Declaring Specific Individuals as Kafirs
And from here did Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah separate (distinguish) between Takfir of a specific individual, and Takfir of other than a specific individual. For it can applied to a saying or action that it is kufr, and the judgement of being a kaafir (disbeliever) upon the one who [falls into] that action is not necessitated by that.
This is because Takfir of the saying (that it is kufr) and [takfir] upon the action (that it is kufr) (تكفير القول والفعل) is from the subject of Takfir upon other than a specific individual.
And a specific individual does not disbelieve in their view (Ahl us-Sunnah - except with the fulfilment of the following matters:
ONE: Establishment of the proof ( قيام الحجة)
TWO: Affirmation of the [fulfilment] of the conditions (ثبوت الشروط), which are:
Acquisition of correct knowledge (حصول العلم الصحيح)
Corroboration of the wilful intent (to utter the saying or perform the action) (تحقق القصد)
THREE: The absence of any barriers, which are four, and which are incompatible with (cancel out) the conditions (of ilm and qasd)
Ignorance (الجهل) that negates knowledge
Compulsion (الإكراه) that negatees wilful intent
Error (الخطأ) which negates wilful intent
Faulty interpretation (التأويل) that negates wilful intent
So no judgement of disbelief upon a specific individual is made until these matters are corroborated, as opposed to [the case] of Takfir of other than a specific individual.

Question: O Respected Shaykh, who is the murtadd (apostate)? We hope for you to define it in a clear manner, for sometimes the judgement of apostasy can be made upon a person while there is some doubt that he had.
Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan: The judgement of apostasy and expelling someone from the religion is only appropriate for the people of knowledge who are firmly grounded in knowledge, and they are the judges in the various Shareeah law courts, and those who are able of giving legal verdicts. And this is just like the other matters, and it is not the right of every person, or from the right of those who are learning, or those who ascribe themselves to knowledge, but who have deficiency in understanding. It is not appropriate for them to make judgements of apostasy (upon others). Since, mischief will arise from this, and sometimes a Muslim might be judged as an apostate but he is not actually so. And the takfir of a Muslim who has not committed one of the nullifications of Islaam contains great danger. Whoever says to his brother O Kaafir or O Faasiq, and he is not like that, then the words will fall back upon the one who said them. Hence, the ones who actually judge with apostasy are the legislative judges and those who are able and fit for giving legal verdicts. And as for those who enforce the judgements they are the leaders of the Muslims (wullaat al-amr). As for whatever is other than this, then it is mere confusion.
