There is a book called "Shock Doctrine" by an author named Naomi Klein. Basically, in it she talks about how rich companies wait for populations that undergo shock, either through natural disasters (eg, cyclones, hurricanes, tsunamis) or man-made disasters (war in Iraq) and then move into those areas to make huge profits.

It was done and is still taking place in Iraq, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka (2004 tsunami). I fear that while these revolutions started off in a good way, these companies are going to try and exploit them for profit.

Assalam alaikum.

I'll tell you another dirty trick they do. A president will not pass a law or relax a regulation a rich person wants the rich person will claim his business is suffering and start massive layoffs saying the economy is going bad because of the president's rule. The economy is really not bad, the rich guy is just trying to scare people into electing a president that the rich guy feels will let him have his way. He just gives the people he keeps on the job more work thinking he'll make it up with more profits once the law is changed when a new president takes over.

They did this to Jimmy Carter.

Conversation seems to be written by the same person, as the style and level of English is the same. Either that or the General is a dunce and breaks protocol to go around trying to speak to strangers on skype.

:salam2:Haha funniest headline of the day. The American military warmongers might be arrogant but they are not stupid to touch Algeria, they would be very lonely over there, beside being economically over stretched.I believe the Afghan adventure will be the beginning of the End of American hegemony while China is rising to give a more balanced equation to world affairs, just like all other empire aspirants that went over there! You know how many of us there are in Europe,it who are bi nationals?Europe would explode and that would be the beginning of world war 3.Algeria has very strong and stable economical ties with Europe. The Americans won't go against the interest of their "Allies"This is a very confusing title. There was an 8 years civil war in the 90's in Algeria and none dared to send ground troops, there is a historical reason to that.Let me enjoy and take care of my family a little,Algeria is too big for them psss...
