Two kinds of love never causes pain.

1. Love of Allah

2. Love for the sake of Allah.

Do you agree or disagree?? :)

Ofcourse agree......No doubt in it.......Alhamdulillah

"And from among mankind there are some who take for themselves (objects of worship as) rivals to Allah, loving them as they should (only) love Allah. And those who believe are stronger in their love for Allah."

(Qur'an, Al-Baqarah 2:165)

And also:

"O you who believe, whoever of you becomes a rebel against his deen (know that in his place) Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble towards the believers, harsh towards the disbelievers, fighting in the way of Allah, and not fearing the blame of anyone who blames."

(Qur'an, Al-Maidah 5:54)

“O you believe … Allah has made you love the Faith, and made it so beautiful in your hearts, and has made you hate disbelief, immorality and rebelliousness. These are the righteous. This is grace and bounty, from Allah, as Allah is All-knowledgeable and All-Wise”
(Surah Hujurat 49:6-8)

“Say (O Mohammed) “If you do love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you, and forgive your sins, as Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful”.
(Surah Imrân (3:31)

It is true sis, as muslims we only love and hate for the sake of Allah. I think the best kind of love is the love for the sake of Allah masha Allah

I'm not what you believe
salam 'alikum,I disagree, because the love for Allah causes me a lot of pain.contrarly to others' opinion,I feel bad, unhappy and angry.my love for Allah is strong and the more strong it is and the more it causes me pain, because I still live on this Dunya, among the troubles of the life and the dayly problems I have to face.I count the days which separate me from Allah,to say that I agree with what you said.:)

I agree with you dear sister.

~"Mankind was created weak." [an-Nisaa', 28]

~Our beloved Prophet (sws) said, the world is a prison for believers and paradise for a non-believer.

~“To perceive is to suffer.”
― Aristotle

But Allah gaved us the news of hope and mercy, alhamdullilah. He, Exalted is He, gave the greatest encouragement possible concerning patience to those who desire Him saying:

“You who have faith! Be patient; be supreme in patience; be firm on the battlefield; and have taqwa of Allah so that hopefully you will be successful.”
''Today I have rewarded them for being steadfast. They are the ones who are victorious.”
“Allah loves the patient.”

I'm not what you believe
if I give a look around me,what I see is hypocrisy and egoism.I'd like to react to all this, but as you mentioned, the patience is the right key.I sometimes feel so in pain, that I ask to myself where I was wrong.my family is only a little part of the happiness,I still need that peace we call "SAKEENA".and I don't do

Asalamu 'alaikum,

Indeed with Allah lies complete satisfaction and the heart that yearns for the view of His face is absolved of happiness of both the worlds.
With Allah(his thought) in the heart,no bughz or evil ca ever touch it and insha'Allah it will continue to stay pure.
Two shuyookh at my place were discussing one of them told us about it,that an animosity that you get for the sake of Allah is better than a friend for the sake of this world.
The more Allah's dhikr and kalam is read the more tranquil it gets insha'Allah.
No tranquility is there except in the speech and remembrance of our Rabb ,Most High.
Salah, when we stand, before Allah, with sincerety and firm belief that we are standing before Our Rabb, who is the controller ,manager and creator of everyone and whose relation with us will never end, there might be relief insha'Allah.Rasulullah :saw: used to say (the mafhoom of which,is)that salah is the coolness of my eyes.
Perhaps, a reminder of the relationship of our servitude to Our Rabb and a connection with Him in this duniya, which humbles egos and kill it that the feet and head are at same level in front of Allah.
Also du'a is a thing which can connect us and soften our hearts in sha'Allah.Asking Allah with humility in loneliness and company.
Also our way of life is Islam, which insures a complete rememberance of Allah in every apect of life,so that we never lose touch with Allah and His rememberance.

On one occasion a person came to the Prophet (saw) and said,

والله يا رسول الله إني أحبك، فقال رسول الله إن البلايا أسرع إلى من يحبني من السيل إلى منتهاه

“‘By Allāh (swt)! O Prophet (saw) of Allāh! I love you.’ The Prophet (saw) replied, ‘The trials and tribulations will befall the one who loves me faster than the stream flows down its course.’” Narrated by Ibn Hibbān; Silsalat us-Sahīha Hadīth No.1586

Asaalaam alaikum,

I had to go out into the world yesterday. I carried on a conversation with a lovely woman. She told me she was born under a lucky star. I asked her why. She said everything in her life went well. She never lacked for anything. She was very happy.

In my usual manner, I, out of the blue, asked her you do not believe in God, she responded no. She was agnostic. She did not know. She did not want to know. She said I know you are a Muslim by the way you are dressed. I smiled. I told her in her world you would call me blessed. See, she came to me. No matter how good she thought she had it..there was something about me that made her walk to me. It was not me that she walked to. She saw a Muslim.

Now, back to the topic...do not the scholars and great minds describe the Path as being steep. And lets discuss how shytan attacks us on this very steep path.

Assalamua`alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

A good book that discusses on love; particularly love of a human being to another and its types in detail is "Rawdhatul Muhibeen" by Ibnu Qayyim al-Jawzi. If anyone ever find the pdf of the book can share the link here, inshaa Allaah.

And yes, love for Allaah and love for His Sake shouldn't be something that hurts. It is a blessing even if it might hurts sometimes along the way, especially when we had to let go of many things that are dear to us just so the heart shall be filled with abundant love for Allaah only.

The verse below of the link Is better then our words; however hard the scholar described We have to accept that not all will consider as as he is Right;(and this is our nature)
By all means one is to be true to his/her ..Ahad with Allah (Jala w Alaa) try hard at least to reach to the point as 'that knife was at the throat' while he was commanded NOW YOU have proven...as a friend of Allah. with your Ahad.

And, O Muhammad, (it has always been so with) every Messenger and Prophet *96 We sent before you that whenever he had a desire, *97 Satan tried to interfere with his desire. *98 But Allah eradicates the mischiefs worked by Satan and confirms His Revelations, *99 for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise, *100 (He allows this) so that He may make Satan's obstacles a trial for those, whose hearts suffer from the disease (of hypocrisy) and whose hearts are false--the fact is that these unjust people have gone far away in their enmity- and so that those who have knowledge may realize that this (Message) is the Truth from Allah and may believe in it, and their hearts may submit humbly to it. Most surely Allah always guides the Believers to the Straight Way. *101
