Alhamdulillah
Assalamalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu,
If Mr. Anees Shorrosh is sick, or even if he isn't, it does not change the fact that he has continued to ridicule Islam all his life, by, abeit, thoroughly illogical arguments. Even if he is sick now, it does not change the fact that he has written many books, and has a website too if I am correct, against Islam. You are right Ibrahim, we should feel bad for him. But not because noone tried to guide him. He had once debated with the great Ahmed Deedat himself. If with all his knowledge and righteousness, Dr. Deedat was not able to convince Anees of his misconception of Islam and Christainity, certainly his heart was not open to the light of Allah. I feel bad for him, but because of his arrogance against the word of Allah, and because of what the Qura'n says will happen to such men. Noone is mocking him because he or she is arrogant. People are rejoicing because an evil voice against Allah and Islam is finally shut. He was always outsmarted by Dr. Deedat, and now he is making a fool out of himself. If someone develops a sickness, yes we should pray for his ailment, provided the sick person does not have a hardened heart of an unbeliever. Noone is judging him because God forbid, someone thinks they are Allah (Nouzubillah!!). It is only logical that people draw conclusions about a person based on his actions. Anees's whole life boasts of lousy arguments against Islam. Hence it is no surprise I think he is a jerk. The internet, was not invented because of what the "Americans believed". It was not a project for faith, but a project of science. I think you realize that these are two different things. If the internet is being used for spreading Islam, it is even more used for spreading *!*!*!*!ography! Should we still praise the people who created the internet? Yes we should, because of the convenience the technology provides. The people who use the internet for different purposes should be held accountable for their actions. If someone makes an Islamic website, may Allah bless him. If someone makes a *!*!*!*!ographic website, he will be held accountable on the Final Day. We are NOT afraid that truth will not stand for itself. But Alhamdulillah, we have been honoured with being a part of prophet Muhammad's (S.A.W.S) Ummah. As a member of his Ummah, it is our responsibility to perform Da'wah. Truth will stand for itself. We muslims are the agents of the truth. We are one Ummah, we will rise together after we die. Let us pray we live up to our name. Yes we will leave it to Allah S.W.T. to judge people. That is what the Final Day is for. But I am not ashamed to celebrate the victory of Islam over a liar like Anees. May we all be guided. I say this to myself first, and all my brothers and sisters in Islam, and may we be the best of those who are guided. Ameen! Assalamalaikum.
