Asalamalakum Brothers and Sisters. My name is Atakan and I'm proudly Turkish, Australian and a new Muslim! I look forward to getting involved with this great community. Masha'Allah I am glad to have come to Islam. I converted last month and it was a decision I went through over a while.

The main reason why Islam was on the forefront of my mind was because my father and his side are Muslim. On the other hand my mother and her side is Christian. At the moment I'm investigating how to pray and plan to go to my local masjid close to my home to learn more about Islam. I also have been watching The Deen Show and been reading a book explaining Islam which has helped me a lot. I wish everyone the best and thank you for reading.
