Once again I'd like to talk about the parents because I've noticed that many of the children, once they can take care of themselves , they neglect those who were their first supporters (after Allah) and going in their own way without a look behind and may be forget that their parents still alive .:astag:

SubhanAllah;regardless of your relatinship with your parents,you'll miss them when they're gone from your life ,And there won't be any more chance ,
Our parents love warm touch-holding hands, a warm hug or small peck on the cheek.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ood said:''I aked the Prophet (p.b.u.h):'Which deed is most liked by Allah? He said:'Prayer on time ;I asked:'Then what?' He said:'kindness and respect towards parents;I asked him :'Then what?' He said;Jihad for the sake of Allah.' (Bukhaaree&Muslim)

A man came and asked the Propet(P.B.U.h) for permission to participate in Jihad,so the Propet(p.b.u.h) asked him:''Are your parents alive?'' The man said Yes. So the Prophet (p.b.u.h) told him:''So perform jihad by taking care of them.'' (Bukhaaree&Muslim):ma:

Salaam,

As a child I have noticed how thick is the Muslim blood of my father running and giving me life through my veins. As a parent, I pray, this blood runs thick thourgh the viens of my sons. InshaAllah, it will.
My parents fulfilled thier obligations by teaching me Islam. Now it is my turn to return the honor.
We get distracted from the Truth. It is our duty to instill that which is more important than anything taught by formal education.
We honor our parents by performing prayer...we teach our chidren to continue on the same path.

Sadly, some of the fathers have become reliant on the last part of that statement. You see them not praying, not fulfilling the obligations, falling into the haraam, then they have a son who has memorised the Qur'aan and depend upon him!
