I am Christian, but questioned my religion for nearly a year now.

There are things I m trying to understand.

How do we know what the truth is if we were not there when certain things are meant to have happened?

I am trying to find actual proof, or information that Constantine, put the NEW TESTAMENT together.

I know who he was, and that at some point he also came to Christianity, but then why do so, if he had put the final chapters together himself of the bible?

Paul, also known as Saul(before he became a Christian), who was he did he really make up his own religion to change what Jesus had done, or did he help Constantine's version grow?

I don't understand why man has chose to change things and accept what is not of God, what gets me is that no one will ever know the truth.

I want to know whats right, understand what is right and what is wrong, understand where exactly it is in history man came in and changed what God set...

Your questions are legitimate and the answers are long. I would recommend reading the book by Bart Ehrman "Misquoting Jesus". It should answer all your questions above better than any of us here can.

I had a lot of these same questions when I was Christian. I recommend you do research from all points of view: the christian view on constantine and paul, and then the Islamic view on it. I would recommend this book: Jesus, Prophet of Islam by Muhammad Ata Ur-Rahim. It gives the timeline from jesus to constantine.

Here is a good book by Ahmed Deedat about How Bible got corrupted and is it really gods word. I am glad you are searching the truth,it takes a lot of character to even think that there may be some problem with the religion of our father. I hope we can answer any questions that you have.
