cONFUSED UPSET

i have to start this thread as there are things bothering more day by day
when ifirst joined here was really happy to join an islamic community
but as time goes by im not so sure

maybe its me or my understanding i dont know

but two events have happened in last days
two leaders have died

one a tyrant a dictator who is proven to have killed and tortured..yet people are upset about his last moments

another from the leading family of an islamic country..yet some will mock this family even now after his death

maybe im naive or missing something ..but why are people defending tyrants and attacking others who do not destroy their country and people

I dont think anyone has defended Gaddhafi... rather some didnt like how they shouted Takbir over his body and others didnt like the way the NTC handled his body. As for the House of Saud, they are a key ally of the US.

yes saud may have allied wiht amerians but have done much good too
ur so obsessed wiht hatred of west..that see tyrant leaders better than peaceful leaders

As for me is less of matter both persons, what matters and truly unsettles me, is that events are going always in one direction. All bad news come from muslim world. Not one bad news from our real tyrants, from the ones that have really waged war on muslims and Islam. NOT ONE! And be as it may, I would prefer in such circumstances deaths of muslim world I would want to be more moderately publiced, in a different fashion, and what not else, but deffinitely not in the way they are happening and narrated. Yes, we have problem with our leaders, since muslim ummah is suffering such attrocities, yet we have enemies that have used them, and are being pleased by the excuses that they can derive from us, to humiliate us more. Only yesterday a paper that takes well care of muslim threat on western world, had head article titled :"They betrayed Islam". I could blow off. Since when western is caring for Islam. God help me. The very ones sending armies against Islam. Dear brother and sisters, we have to take care to not encourage and inspire the true enemies of Islam, and maybe by having little decency with bad rulers (opposing them, replacing them, but as per islamic teachings) some might change their ways, and maybe they will change from the allies of our enemies to our supporters. The hope is within us, we have to seek the hope, in every way. May Allah SWT guide us all! Amin!
These were my thoughts in regards to these two events. I am sadened that everything happenes in our ummah, nothing in kufar.

Its natural to feel disallusioned at times its part of our make up,we see some things that make us happy and some sad,i understand where you are coming from though but dont let it beat you down.

I need to say dear sister that I did not red here on TTI forum that noone was defending Ghadafi because Alhamdulillah we know well his deads and that he was massive killer of our Muslim brothers and sisters,and by this we can never defend him. Inshallah he will respond for his deeds to Allah on Day of Judgment.

From how I could read all brothers and sisters who have replied were only saying that Ghadaffi did not deserved that kind of treatment of his body, because that what they done in Libya was real unhuman behaviour Astagfirullah and what has hurted me more is because that comes from Muslims, although I know that today there are every kind of Muslims who have only Muslim name of Islam.Their behaviour and what they done to Ghadaffi body belongs to them and it is their dead and that has nothing to do with defending Ghadaffi.

Dear sister we must judge those deads, even if we know that he was tyranin and killer, seperated from his deads we as Muslims know that one human body can not be treated on that humilating way.Even in war Allah has forbidden us torture of captures and our enemies because Allah sais in Quran that torture is worst of killing one human being, although it is allowed Alhadmulillah to take one life if one deserve Shariah punishment or in Jihad ( self defensive). But beside this sister, Muslim is always just and one Muslim should never done what they did.

Regarding the Saudi Prince who has died I agree with you sister that we should not judge him or talk wrong about him if we do not know his deeds. And Allah knows the best.
