i guess no one really cares for this natioin huh? it seems there are no replies- well i hope IF there are any that you will come to realize the issues going on in this country. it's one of many nations that are suffering and is trying to survive daily. i hope that you will all come to care in your hearts about this country and about all the other countries tha belong to islam. salam.

Assalaamu'Alykum,

I will dedicate time to watch this and sister don't be so pessimistic. Insha'Allah Brothers & Sisters will also dedicate time to watch this. Just to re-assure you, i have bookmarked and it will make sure that i watch with understanding.

I wasn't fully aware of the suffering of our Brothers & Sisters in certain countries which are not mentioned in the media - Somalia is one of them.

This includes floods etc, where our Brothers & Sisters are still going through severe difficulty - Bangladesh, Pakistan and countires that i don't even know about.

Subhan'Allah, just think (to myself as well) - the floods which were X months ago, is pretty much forgotten about now, but sadly our Brothers & Sisters will still be going through hardships.

May Allah ease their difficulty and help us to realise that we need to reflect upon ourselves in terms of the opportunities available to help them. This could be the difference between Jannah or Jahannam.

Just to add, i know its ease to say this, but every little effort does help - Du'a, money - whether small of large, helping physically and many more. It shows that we are all capable of helping in one way or another. We all fall under one of the methods of helping our Brothers & Sisters in Islam. May Allah protect us from the Shaytaan. As he is the one and our lack of eemaan, awe of Allah and fear of Allah which ends up turning us away from potential opportunities to help our Brothers & Sisters.

Insha'Allah we will all try and do our little bit to help. I still hold steadfast to the fact that the little contributions ends up being the real facilitator in the success in the end result. Thus, making sure to have Khawf (Fear of Allah), ar-rajaa (hope and longing), ar-raghbah (fervent desire) and (ar-rahbah) dread, will help us all in fighting Shaytaan in order to help the Muslims.

P.S: The above paragraph really relates to bits in the book ‘Explanation of the Three Fundamental Principles of Islaam’ by Shaykh Muhammd ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (May Allah have mercy on him) although Thalathatal Usool itself was written by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab. Sorry to carry on like this, but i thought i would mention some of terms i had read which felt related to my post. In a way including those terms doesn't do full justice as the Noble Shaykh included Ayah's from Qur'an and related Hadiths to each term. May Allah increase us all in beneficial knowledge.

I have seen this and I also see more than this through other somali websites related to the ICU sister. Lots of brothers care about the situation in somali sister just like that in Iraq or palestine or elsewhere. I am not somali nor arab but I have got this nice version of sanakudhu somali version which I would like to share sis. Our mosque also collects for somali orphans to help through Islamic Releif.

I would also like to point out that we are aware of the suffering of brothers and sisters in Ethiopia in the muslim provinces (i think its called Ogoden?)there where rape of muslim sisters is the norm but the west only talk about darfur.

Sister i have been following the news in Somalia long before the War even started! SubhanAllaah i even wanted to visit when the UIC took over!

It just amazes the lack of media attention the Issue gets, i was also upset with the decision of the 'differences' between the recent split between Shaykh Owais and Shaykh Sharif and i even hear the 'talks' in Djibouti have already broken down.

May Allaah Help and Aid the Muslims around the world and give us victory and save us from the oppression of the wrongdoers.

jazakallah for all of your replies. also i'm from ogaden, my aunts and uncles still live there. many of my cousins were killed. but now alhamdulillah a man by the name shaykh ibrahim has gone there and is fighting for the people there. jazakallah island musim for the nasheed. and thanks to the rest of you as well. also we've started donations for somalia- it's collected in my sisters house. clothes and money. it's going pretty good now. i'm sorry if i sounded harsh brothers and sisters. i really did not mean to. inshallah i think i'm close to finding a job and inshallah when i do i'll be donating to every muslim country that i possibly can. asalamu alaykum.

Thank you for sharing these very informative videos... I have watched the first one and will finish the other four, Insha Allah. I have saved them to my favourites on youtube and will share with other sisters and brothers. I agree with you, so many countries in Africa that suffer unthinkable situations seem to be so low on the radar, I know they are in the USA anyway..... I hope they are not low on the radar for Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world.

btw, my mother has two young somali girls in her computer class in Dublin Ireland. I was very proud of my sisters when Mum told me they always do their prayers on time. May we band together to help our sisters and brothers in Somalia and in every country where there is suffering, ameen.

I am a member of ONE.org just to keep a voice out to the US government while I am in this country that they need to do soooooooooooooo much more to help ease suffering in so many parts of Africa, Somalia included.

This is what the U.S. and its allies want happenned to any nation that wants to practice Islam 100%. They get accused of being AlQaida allies and get slaughtered like animals.

May Allah grant victory to our Brothers and sisters in Somalia, and give the rest of the Muslims the heart to at least (at least), yes at least, pray for them.

British and Americans these both nations committed huge number of crimes against human and irony is this these both nations became or represent their self as human rights champion. But the amazing thing is these both nations claims their system of government is democracy. Well they say so but what we can see is opposite. If anyone ever met normal British or American they are very good people, i mean just like any other human just like us but it seems they have no power over their government and they are being told to choose the limited choices. Its like you ask somebody to choose any direction and if a person chooses north than you tell him ,wrong, their is no such direction you can only choose between east and west, suggestive thinking, mind manipulation, mind controlling and 4th branch of the government are the major issues in these countries. It seems world is running by some demons.

And the threat by Muslim sides are these puppet politicians. Individual sell their self and even their religion, their faith, their mother and childern to gain power. Muslim always from these situations.

But i believe one thing no external power can harm Muslims even Muslims are in Bad conditions except snakes among us. The reason why i am saying this is a history.

Very good point, sha587. Britain and America want to hold themselves up as the best example of a civilization..... Everyone knows that Britain has a huge problem with perverts and the USA is just messed up beyond the point of no return, from education to morality ane everything in between. You know there is a huge problem when 1 in 4 teenagers graduate highschool not with flying colours.....but instead with STDs (sexually transmitted diseases)

It was so sad, the day after Obama realized he would be the democratic party's nomination, both he and Hillary were campaigning for the American-Israeli lobby.... very telling of who runs things around here, and yet the masses don't realize it.
