friendless......

ok first u've got to understand this.i have a friend called zainab.she's a somalian.we bcame friends although we were very different.always getting into arguments:angryblue:.........but we had one thing in common.we luvd discussing islam.(somthing i was searching for)

from past three months i lost contact with her.she didn't called and gave no response to my mail.though she lived in the same city as me.well,i thought the one person who was like was gone and lost.

i was prettydishearted and thought of looking around for a new companion.which proved fruitless,so i posted here for help advice and duas.

however she contacted me a day after i posted this thread.and cleared things up..i couldn't help but feeel grateful to her even after this long return................coz she ws the one who told me abt TTI.

U ppl are somthing:tongue:.one in milllions .i don't kno whose dua Allah took into account for me.u ,me ,all of us ..............:tti_sister:

being apart of this forum is somthing i can't xplain.for all the support ,advice and patience.ihope i can sometime repayfor this.

Salaams sister, ur doing the right thing by staying away from such but you can still make duahs for them and be kind. It is better not to have friends or hang out people if they are bad. I have learned recently to stick more to myself because the Muslims I have met at the masjid are very shady, corrupt and take advantage of my kindness. So I am careful who my friends are but I still am kind to them and would be willing to help them if they were in need, even though they wouldn't help me or others, but I do it because this is my nature and I don't expect anything in return.

It is sad but at times "muslims" can be worse than others and I am realizing that "Muslim' is just a label today and I am not fooled by long birds, trimmed mustaches, Islamic clothing., etc. I only trust Allah and try to be careful whom I am friends with. I even have non-muslim friends and are respectful to me and they don't do anything haraam or at least not in front of me. I respect them and they respect me. So I know what you are talking about and I would be careful and do as you are doing. Make duah for them and leave the rest to Allah.

Woooooow I knooooow exactly how u feel. I'm in independent studies as ajunior in high school, and now I don't have any freinds sadly. It's not east making freinds when u don't go to real school. Buut it's better cuz here public schools r craaaazy. Anwyas I tried making Muslim freinds but they all only care about talking to boys and just different stuff. And I don't wanna change myslef for anyone either.

If u need a freibd just write on my wall lol

Allah Ta'ala says:

اِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِيۡنَ يُقِيۡمُوۡنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمۡ رَاكِعُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۵۵﴾​

"Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship)."

(Quran 5:55)​
