[Abu Juwairiya]

"Abdullah bin Abbas narrated the Prophet Muhammad said to him: "Young lad!
Observe Allah, now He preserves you. Observe Allah, for you will find him ahead of you. If you ask, ask Allah, and if you seek help, seek Allah's help." (Tirmidhi)

 

[Abu Juwairiya]

"The Prophet Muhammad said, 'Emigration [Hijrah] shall not cease to be effective until repentance becomes ineffective and repentance shall not cease to be effective until the sun rises from the West [meaning the end of the world]." (Ahmad and Abu Dawud)

"The Prophet Muhammad said, 'Dua is worship." (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Abu Dawud)

"The Prophet (SAW) said, 'The Mufaridun have surpassed (others). They (the Companions) said, 'And who are the Mufaridun, O Messenger of Allah?'

He said: 'The men and women who remember Allah much." (Muslim)

Personal Comment: The scholars add the 'Mufaridun' are those who isolate themselves [for specific time periods, not as a career] and devote themselves to the [extra] worship and remembrance of Allah [just as people devote specific times for study or other responsibilities].

 

[Abu Juwairiya]

"Abdullah Ibn Busair mentioned that a man said: O Messenger of Allah, the revealed laws of faith have become too many for me, so tell me of one thing to hold fast to.

The Prophet (SAW) said: 'Let your tongue continue to be moist with the remembrance of Allah." (Tirmidhi)

 

[Abu Juwairiya]

Narrated Abu Qatadah, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: 'Good dreams are from Allah, so if one of you sees something (in a dream) that he likes, let him not talk of it other than to those he likes; and if he sees something (in a dream) that he dislikes, let him not talk of it at all." (Bukhari and Muslim)

"The Prophet (SAW) said: 'Allah is at His most near to the servant in the middle of the final part of the night.

If you are able to among those who are remembering Allah at that hour, then be so." (Tirmidhi)

"The Prophet (SAW) said: 'Verily in the night there is a period of time which no Muslim man happens upon and wherein he asks Allah for something good from the things of this world and the Hereafter, without his being given it-and this is so every night." (Muslim)

The Prophet (SAW) said: "Verily, a man stumbles due to his tongue more than he stumbles with his two feet."

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Allah loves the slave who is pious, independent of means and hidden from the people."

Imam An-Nawawi said: “Hidden from the people” refers to one who is anonymous and is focused on worship and taking care of his own affairs.

The Prophet (SAW) said: "If you stone the Jamaar [pillars] it will be like light for you on the Day of Judgement." [Silsilah As-Saheehah]

"The guests of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, are three: The warrior, the pilgrim performing Hajj, and the pilgrim performing 'Umrah."

The Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah, the Exalted, will continue to stretch out His Hand in the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and continue to stretch His Hand in the daytime so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from the west." (Muslim)

The Prophet (SAW) said: "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam)". [Sahīh Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

The Prophet (SAW) said: "If any ruler having the authority to rule Muslim subjects dies while he is deceiving them, Allah will forbid Paradise for him." [Sahīh Al-Bukhari]

Personal Comment: This Hadith should be a warning to those people who believe that all rulers are to be obeyed just because they rule Muslims.

The Prophet (SAW) said: "A time will come when one will not care how one gains one's money, legally or illegally." [Sahīh Al-Bukhari]
