    salam alaykum Sister Diank,

we do not deny what is happening in Darfur but we have doubts about the credibility of the International Criminal Court toward world issues.

    Salaam,

Sister Dianek you did not make a mistake. You post and post. We need a variety of experiences. When posts are political they will be heated. And many, including me, cannot get past the media. Please download and watch Ring of Power. It is lenghty but worth the watch.

There are people suffering all around the world and we should all remember this:
Allah will not place a burden on a soul of that which it cannot bare. Allah does not oppress an atom, Allah is most merciful and Oft forgiving.

It is good to be made aware of these things and it's very hard finding the real truth. In my honest opinion most world leaders are being controlled by the worshippers of Dajjal aka the Freemasons. They are the greatest enemies of Islaam and they are preparing for his coming. May Allah protect us from this great Fitnah approaching.

Helping out the brothers and sisters in Sudan is a good thing and whoever can help them, Alhamdulillah may Allah reward you for your efforts. Here in South Africa there are many people who need help and I believe you first help those close to you before you help people in another country.

Its no use pointing fingers at whose more corrupt amongst world leaders because frankly all world leaders are corrupt. We have to unite and stop bickerig amongst ourselves. We need to instill the law of Shari'ah, not just part of it but all of it. For Islaam is a packaged deal and we cannot leave out what we want or add anything we want. We need to unite under the banner of :laila: and stop supporting Kufr governments. Currently there is no proper Islamic rule hence the corruption of the earth, we all see it and the earth is bearing testament to the corruption. The Arabs have let nationalism overtake them and this breaks my heart as it was predicted by our Nabie Muhammad :saw2:

Please brothers and sisters I urge, lets not fight amongst ourselves if someone is wrong correct them in an islamic manner and show mercy please.
I hope that someone takes heed of a few words Insha Allah.
May Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and may he keep us on his straight path Insha Allah!

Check the tone of some of the posters....I do believe they can't look past political lines and regardless of questioning the ICC, this man Al Bashir deserves PUNISHMENT!!!! Who cares who imposes it on him! Bush opposes the ICC, isn't that a little incentive to support their efforts? We can hope that one thing will lead to another and at some point people like Bush will be charged as War Criminals!

    :salam2: Sister,

I think what is happening here can be put into an urdu idiom. They say, "Dudh ka jala chhachh bhi phuk ke peeta hai" meaning a person who has once hurt himself with hot milk will first blow even a cold drink (to cool it down) i.e. to say that Muslims and I should say most people all over the world have become so weary and suspicious of such setups like ICC or UN or anyother such institution from their past records that its hard for them to take them at their face value and trust them in whatever they suggest.

After what happened in Iraq particularly such organisation have lost all their credibility and its just that people are annoyed and frustrated and they just don't know who to trust and they always see a hidden plot behind such issues.

I know the intent of the first post was good. All I ask here is that people try understanding each other and do not come to a conclusion without even letting other explain what they exactly want to convey.

sister Dianek just wanted to call attention to the evil happinings going on in Darfur and she is just trying her best to do sth I believe she posted this post to ask for help but instead ppl talk about the leaders.. who is more worse Bush or Al Bashir...? who cares they are both evil and Allah will judge them don´t worry... I´m angry cuz we always point at others but we don´t look at ourselves...... and we also do not give a damn about the ppl there in Darfur or anywhere.. and when there is so who is calling to attention to help we ignore it. The ummah is in a bad situation not because of Bush or anyone but because of usself... Damn ya..........

I completely agree with you that these laws aren't fully based on morality and justice, and that in many places in the world justice isn't taking place when it can (i.e. Guantanamo Bay). I just find it difficult to hear people speak so little of what is occuring in Darfur.

Whatever the political situation, these are your brothers and sisters we are talking about, sisters who are being raped, brothers who are being killed, elderly who are being assaulted. Are we then only supposed to focus on the ICC or political situation, are we only supposed to look at why the atrocities are occuring and talk about why we aren't being fed the truth? I'm not talking about you only here, i'm talking about many of the posts that I just skimmed through. Bottom line: Muslims are dying, your brothers are dying, your sisters are dying and we should do our best to help! It's extremely discouraging when all you see are Kuffar who are helping these Muslims, when it should be us at the forefront of the humanitarian efforts!!! SubhanAllah!!!

"The Faithful are to one another like [parts of] a building -
each part strengthening the others" and "Every Muslim is a
brother to a Muslim, neither wronging him nor allowing him to be
wronged. And if anyone helps his brother in need, Allah will
help him in his own need; and if anyone removes a calamity from
[another] Muslim, Allah will remove from him some of the
    calamities of the Day of Resurrection;
    and if anyone shields
[another] Muslim from disgrace, Allah will shield him from the
disgrace on the Day of Resurrection." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim, on
the authority of `Abd Allah ibn `Umar]

    Salaam,

I am so very disappointed in some of the responses. To the young woman who wishes damnation upon us..beg forgiveness for Allah subhana talla, please.

We are pointing fingers and just writing what is on the top of our heads. There is oppression everywhere on Earth. We pick and choose that which we wish to help fight. If I believe there is oppression in my neighborhood and fight the good battle..that does not make me wish pain upon those I can not reach.

Brother Only One...you can not be fed the truth. One has to go out and seek it. Therein lies a large problem Many are used to be fed. It dulls our senses. In this post we are begining to become political and rebellious. We are begining to forget that we are Muslims who have an obligation to uphold each other. We need to start right here.

People don't understand Darfur. It is in fact a civil war. More importantly its considered a war over resources involving both the U.S. and China. China backing the other side, and that light of justice the U.S. backing the other one.

If this really was an international court. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld would be on it.

They arrested a 14 year old boy in Afghanistan and tortured him at gitmo. But of course we all know there are separate set of laws for muslims. If you haven't realized that yet your not looking hard enough.

Thank you for your concern regarding my statement, however, that was besides my point. I only used that as a figure of speech and didn't mean it literally. My point was that it seems many people on this board are busying themselves with argumentation of why genocide is occuring in Darfur. I was saying that we should stop this argument because it is the wrong discussion. I'm saying that we should instead focus on our duties as Muslims and help those who are in need, hence my posting of that Hadith. :)

    :salam2: Sister Dianek,
I am so sad that you don't want to look at the reality. Isn't it obvious. Just read your original post. Does it has anything to do with helping the poor people of Darfur? No... It is all about "International Criminal Court indicting Sudan's President Omar Al Bashir" which is a purely political move. If you look deeper you will find these very illuminatis are behind the violence in Darfur. And once they start a violence they put two people against one another and gather talking points for you. And since they have media power so they bring celebrities and politicians and blame whoever is their target.

Do they mention anything about Somalia ??? Somalia became very peaceful a few years ago and thing returned to normal (as a matter of fact the time of Islamic Courts Union is already being called as the Golden Era of Somalia), but Bush and gang attacked and destroyed that country, and have now left the defenseless people at the mercy of Etheopian soilders. Do these talking heads talk about the genocide going on over there in Somalia? NO.

If this so-called International Criminal Court was a real thing then Bush should have been indicted first for destroying 3 countries (Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia) and killing literally more than a million people in these countries. Why Bush first? Because he and his gang ARE the biggest criminals at this time. So why they are just indicting Sudan's President Omar Al Bashir... JUST BECAUSE OF OIL !!!

I am not defending atrocities which are being committed by Muslims against Muslims or against anyone, I condemn it fully. But your post was not about helping anybody but about this political move of International Criminal Court indicting Sudan's President. You seemed to be happy about this political stunt they pulled. And that is why I said that you are so gullible.

And as I said: YOU WILL HEAR MORE OF THESE KIND OF STORIES WHEN THESE IILUMINATIS WILL BE ATTACKING IRAN, SYRIA, PAKISTAN and SAUDI ARABIA ETC. Mark my words!!! Write them somewhere and save them to refer back to them when these things will occur.

BTW... Have you searched Google or Yahoo for "9/11 Truth" yet ?
    Open your eyes sister.

    Salaam,

My dear brothers and sisters please forgive me when I rant and rave..but I am the aapa here. It comes with the role.

We do need to adhere to our Muslim duties. I believe one way to adhere to our obligations is to work hard..strive..to seek knowledge. I know when I decided to look for the Truth my life changed 100%.

Sister Dianek, there is nothing but love here for you. It is now common knowledge about 911. In an earlier response I asked you to view The Ring of Power. It presents some of the truth from a western perspective. There is a segment I cannot agree with but overall it explains the new world order etc. Forgive me but for personal reasons I cannot at this time afford to become political. See sister we are being watched. I am not playing. I left this site because I had to. When the respected brother suggests open your eyes..please listen to him..

No-one wishes ill on anyone here. Muslims by our creeds have to fight oppression.

I thank my sisters and brothers for taking the time to read my sincere response.

How did bringing the idiot in Darfur to justice and 9/11 get tied together...

I have no qualms agreeing that the our US Goverment has somehow had a lot to do with the 9/11 and other things......

To me these are separate issues. I simply meant to say lets get this man tried and charged and sentenced for what he is doing to those people. Get his militia out of power and hopefully end the conflict in Darfur.

You guys jump from one conspiracy issue to another here.

As for being watched.....what have I to be worried about...in eveyone's opinion here I am too liberal and too "blinded by the media" to be on a radar for the CIA or FBI.......LOL! I am anything but what they are looking for.

I think there are people here who are missing the point. We're all tired of President Bush's politics and all the pain that his presidency has led to, but we can't ignore the inhumanity occurring in other places of the world. The ICC is trying to end a struggle that has been continuing for years. We can't denounce it because it isn't doing anything about the Middle East. We have to support it because it is actually doing something about Darfur. What it is doing is a good thing. There has to be a first step. Yes, we know about Abu Ghraib and we know about Guantanamo and we know that there are people out there in pain, but we can't be blinded by that. We can't forget Darfur. This post is an excellent reminder because I think that there are so many Muslims out there who are outraged about the war in the Middle East and haven't even heard of Darfur. The crimes there are outrageous and it makes you wonder how that could still happen in the world of today. As a Muslim we have to care about Darfur as much as we care about the Middle East and defend humanity wherever it needs to be defended. I know we are all angry about the Middle East, but someone has to be angry about Darfur too to actually stop what is happening there. The situation in the Middle East has the attention of the world and countries all around the globe are opposing it openly. This has put pressure on the US government and at least they know that the world is watching. The events is Darfur have been happening unchecked. It is atrocious. Instead of arguing about which situation is worse, we need to be angry that both exist. We can't be indifferent to Darfur because we're too angry about the Middle East. Thank you for the post!

I know exactly what you mean! Just reading some of the responses to this post made me frustrated! The situation in Darfur needs to stop-period. And if it's the ICC that needs to do it, then so be it. We have all lost trust of international organizations, but we can't not support them if they are actually taking action against a horrible situation just because they didn't take action against the Middle East situation. Someone has to do something about it and at least the ICC has brought attention to Darfur. If nothing else, they have at least made people aware of it and that's the first step.
